Hey! I’m Tg-headcanons, my pronouns are whatever is funniest at the time, welcome to my memes

I mostly write headcanons, metas, and focus on ghoul culture and biology and I’m always happy to get questions or requests! My headcanons are piled up over here

I write fics too, mostly in my self indulgent au, and those can be found over here on my Ao3

I sometimes write nsfw headcanons so be aware you might see it. I tag it with notsfw and put the detailed things under the cut, so if you look at it and don’t like it that’s on you

Do you think Kimi would volunteer to "butcher" for Anteiku?

It's never said in canon what specific medical field she's studying, but hands-on experience is hands-on experience.

The morals of posthumous bodily autonomy are already out the window considering the ghouls are going to eat them. So doing a little medical poking around really isn't that bad in comparison.

Kimi can crack them open and do anything she wants, really, so long as she doesn't use any drugs or leave any tools inside that would harm the ghouls.

She could a full organ examination while doing an organ removal for Anteiku, getting tons of hands-on experience in the process.

And the bodies are in fairly decent condition, considering they're suicides and not murders. So it also helps her to adjust to seeing and working with death and bodies - something a medical worker will need to learn to do.

TOKYO GHOUL CHARACTERS GOING OT THE DENTIST listen i dont fucking know if these people (well not rlly) go to the dentist i dont know how ghoul teeth work but im treating this with my knowledge of dentistry which is limited to the fact that ive been quite often the alst couple months so in short trust me bro real ones know i love stypid hcs so here is some the dentist question has only been raised by one person on reddit 10 years ago so im just going to treat this like ghouls are human people who go to the dentist

dehumanization but in the sense of seeing someone as god-like, all powerful, magnanimous and unable to do any wrong. They are perfection incarnate, a symbol to follow, a martyr for a cause, or the embodiment of a teaching.

dehumanization as in thinking someone is beyond constrictive human behaviours and beliefs like bias, mistakes, misunderstandings, being under pressure, or selfishness.

#HELL YEAHHHH#diefication is as much a loss of humanity as objectification#the only difference is the hight of the pedestal

less incoherent and more "gets scared of committing." tg is very strong in its themes, but they peter out and deflate in the latter half of re. it feels to me ishida both ran outnof steam and also doesnt hold the necessary political beliefs to engage with the implications of sapient predators and prey

call me crazy but kaneki was low key obsessed with hide too. i like it when it gets brought up, hehe. like, he couldn’t tell if it was the real hide talking to him because he lovingly hallucinated him often. mind you Kaneki often hallucinated rize too, as like… his own dark alter ego (with big boobs). Then he copied Hide’s mannerism when he was Haise, and mothered a bunch of young adults. I bet Hide mothered him. Anyways… what a fascinating guy. with mommy issues. but like, bisexually.

Referring to ghouls as "it", never using their names, assuming the worst of intentions, flat out cruel treatment just because they can get away with it since ghouls have literally no legal protections

Man, the CCG sucks

#a fun part of having family who works in government is knowing all the ways they will dehumanize people#so what they can do when their subjects aren’t even human? oh it’s NASTY#If the Berkeley code enforcement office can be absurdly corrupt handling support beams#then the CCG will be even worse handling the terminology they use to refer to ghouls#I loooove making them call them ‘it’ and their children ‘cubs’ and their homes ‘nests’#having them ignore people in distress if it inconveniences them then citing that distress when they want to kill#the murder is bad enough but imagine the BUREAUCRACY#they’re even evil in paperwork
