I use krita on pc/windows (it's free) and there's a bunchhhh of free brushes online to download but I'm pretty sure most I use are base krita brushes bar the "GD quest" pack
Most of the brushes I use are ink style to carve and build tones and shapes!
For the sketch I use "pencil soft - 4", it behaves like a mechanical pencil brush that tapers at the end. I do base highlights and shadows with the "glaze" brush. Then after I predominantly use "basic - 6 (details)" which is like a smooth ink brush to do washes of colour. I use it for line work too which I blend out a lot of the time. And also quick building of shapes in everything I render. For softer line work I'll use the marker brush
I also use "paint soft" for rendering everything too, but use it on a lower opacity so it's more blendable. "paint flat" is more for clothes or sharper shadows! They behave more like a really smooth oil paint brush would.
Then I use a simple blender brush on a low opacity to just smooth any harsh edges that I don't want
It's basically just a bunch of back and forth with brushes I find act most like traditional media to me lol
I hope this was helpful! 😖🫶
