It genuinely upsets me that there are people who call this animation and voice acting bad, thereโ€™s so much heart and soul on display in just this clip alone

At first glance:ย โ€˜lol this is going to be one of those hilariously cheap animationsโ€™

30 seconds in:ย โ€˜โ€ฆOh my god this is fantasticโ€™

โ€œWHO DARES TO INVOKE WXRTHLTL-JWLPKLZ?โ€ โ€œWhere were you when the vowels were beinโ€™ handed out, behind the door??โ€

This was the first place I encountered the Discworld, it changed my fkn life. These are the voices in my head when I read.

This is actually kind of incredible holy shit

what ppl defending kids on ipads donโ€™t seem to understand is that there are other ways to keep kids occupied. my mom had a whole bag full of little toys and games for me to play with while waiting in lines at disney world. once your kid is like 7 or 8 they can read a book. they can color. or they can literally just sit there and imagine things. i did that a lot as a kid.

thanks for putting your wrong and bad commentary in the tags where i still have to read all of it. most of what you said is untrue.

OP: giving children too young to process things so much access to ipads isnโ€™t good for them maybe.

People in the notes: So you hate moms??? Youโ€™re ableist?? You think we should go back to the Dark Ages?? (My personal favorite because it makes no sense) youโ€™re poor shaming??

Why is it so difficult to explain that children not developing fine motor skills and losing their attention spans is bad actually??

Genuine question? Why do IPad parents act like there's nothing else you can give your child to play with. Ok maybe they don't like reading, or coloring and want to play something. Tetris consoles are still available, so are those handheld water game thingies ( where you have two buttons and the air pushes plastic rings around). These will occupy your kid for longer but still it won't make them what to rip your throat if you decide to take it from them.

Like your child should learn how to be bored but if you truly need a break there are better options than allowing them access to endless TikTok videos.

Know what's cheaper than an IPad? A fuckin etch-a-sketch, a little fidget toy, a stick.

Like, technology has its place but it shouldnโ€™t be used as a replacement for actual parenting and education. My almost 3 year old is really good at entertaining herself because she has a lot of opportunities to practice being bored. Sheโ€™s learned how to behave at restaurants and wait in lines without using a screen. The only time we utilize a tablet in public is when weโ€™re in the car for longer than 30 minutes and even then she doesnโ€™t use it the whole time she frequently takes breaks on her own to sing songs or point out stuff out the window

I feel like the "your child should learn how to be bored" bit was skipped over too quickly.

This is like. vital to adulthood survival and I'm not exaggerating even a little. ESPECIALLY if said child is adhd. learn healthy coping mechanisms for boredom at an early age and it'll make adult life a thousand times easier to handle and navigate.

like you do not have to force a child to sit still be quiet to the point of being a statue. i think we all know how much that fucking sucked. however, that is still a good thing to practice on occasion because there WILL be times that is necessary. (like, if they have a particularly strict teacher in school or something) so make a game out of it! parents should engage in these practices too!

anyway if humanity got by for all of human history up until the last few decades without an electronic device to occupy children (and still do in many parts of the world), trust me it is indeed possible to do in a completely reasonable and healthy way.

When I was a child I would sit on the counter and stare at my familyโ€™s fruit bowl for hours. Good times

Hello I need help - Is the altar in a church like the table at the front? What is the table at the front called? IS THERE EVEN A TABLE AT THE FRONT? (Idk jack shit about churches I've never been in one lol, I need to know for a cheeky priest gerard fic I'm writing ๐Ÿซฃ)

It depends, usually on how large the church is/what denomination. I assume you mean catholic since itโ€™s the most popular, nd the church in my hometown has a small altar at the front where the priest preaches and breaks bread etc. confession stands are typically to the side of the building or hidden behind a wall near the back, and the choir is typically facing the altar in some way. Iโ€™m visiting Paris rn and with the older more famous cathedrals there are a lot of smaller alters for individual saints in the building, and places to light candles for them as well as the typical places to hold mass.

Christian churches are more centered in one platform that holds both the worship band and the pastor.

(sorry about the word vomit) \(^_^)/

Also itโ€™s on a raised platform. I forgor

god this got me crying. I can 100% understand the people who dislike Bob bryar but I will never have anything but the utmost sympathy for that man.

Iโ€™ve got zero respect for anyone who hates bob bryar but is just fine with Ronnie radke

my guide as someone whos been lifting for 6+ years and never been caught ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿคž

apperance: i usually wear hoodies and or leggings under sweats or just leggings and a hoodie. i try to not look too much of a bum so i do minimal โ€œclean girlโ€ makeup and grab one of my tote bags

methods:

up the sleeve: this one is my go too, first i usually shove it up the sleeve and then either put it in my waistband or just keep it tucked in my sleeve,i stole a whole mini christmas tree one time just by shoving it up my oversized jacket sleeve obviously be careful tho

in the waistband: if wearing leggings under sweats you can store things in your leggings

fluffy boots: those big y2k fluffy boots are perfect for shoving things in.

bras: if your medium- big chested yk the bra is a way to

hats:put things in your beanie and put it back on

cups: use a empty stanley/hydro flak / any tumblr and put things in

socks: long socks under jeans are good for small things like lipgloss chapstick etc

**obviously be sure the store you are borrowing from isnt a small business and has multiple areas to easy conceal items**

i make sure not to hit the same small stores too often as in dollar general/dollar tree etc, id only recommend once or twice a week if that

**PSA this post is for entertainment purposes only i do not take any responsibility for any actions partook by this post xx**

borrowing tips 101 ๐Ÿ’‹
6 life saving borrowing tips so that you are guaranteed to get what you want everytime without getting caught! ๐Ÿซง

1. ALWAYS go with someone - if you go on your own you automatically draw more attention to yourself and having another person there can be more comforting+you can help eachother (remember only do this if you know for sure the person if comfortable with it NEVER borrow when your with someone without consent because they could get into trouble along with you)

2. Stay calm - speaking from experience, if you are constantly looking at security guards and acting suspicious you WILL get caught. Itโ€™s all about mindset walk out as you usually would but donโ€™t be too obvious.

3. For beginners - if you are a beginner start off stealing small things for example, candy, cheap lipglosses, charms etc. Trust me it will build more skill and if you get caught the worst they would do is kick you out.

4. Go when itโ€™s busy but not too busy! - when itโ€™s busy there are barely any workers and so many people itโ€™s hard for them to keep up. If somebody who isnโ€™t a worker sees you itโ€™s an 80% chance they wonโ€™t snitch, most likely if they are 10-20 ish years old they wonโ€™t but older people tend to snitch more often so be careful!

5. Check tags - if the store you are going into has no sensors most likely the security tags wonโ€™t matter at all with barcodes you can leave almost any store because they donโ€™t go off but with some items they hide the tag inside of the box so be careful and check before lifting!

6. The most important step, donโ€™t overthink it - when lifting just see what you like and take it, if you like you can check over everything after but do not linger or you will get caught! If you decide you donโ€™t want something anymore still leave with it taking and putting it back is very risky and could get you into trouble just have an โ€œI see it, I like it, I want it , I got it โ€œ mindset.

rules for borrowers

โ€ข never borrow from small businesses large chains only!

โ€ขdo not peer pressure anyone into borrowing

โ€ขkeep it moderate donโ€™t steal every time you shop

โ€ข and the most important of all have fun! xoxo ๐Ÿ’‹

extras

what to wear:

jeans with leggings underneath (so things wonโ€™t fall out or shove small things in your waistband

bring a bag (not a huge tote bag itโ€™s obvious more like a tote bag or if your in a mall/ shopping area bring a bag from another store (buy something small) to make it look like your just going on a spree

(for female lifters) I recommend push up bras with a crop/low neck top so that itโ€™s easier to shove things in (and the store canโ€™t legally search you if you get caught)

hoodies but it can be kinda obvious

stores to go to:

I recommend going to mini stores from a large chain because half of the time they have a scrawny security guard with 1 to 2 workers there and they wonโ€™t be able to stop you

uk stores:

  • boots
  • superdrug
  • primark especially
  • sephora (not as recommended)
  • urban outfitters
  • tkmaxx
  • brandy melville

(i live in london so if youโ€™re in the uk and donโ€™t have these stores sorry)

us stores:

  • sephora
  • ulta
  • brandy melville
  • tjmaxx
  • urban outfitters
