guys i know we’re traumatised by 3x05 but we’re sleeping on elaida confirming that (i quote) siuan used to fawn over moiraine like a lovesick puppy when they were novices which i think might be some of the best information to ever exist
i would like to remind everybody that if moiraine believes that she is going to die and therefore this may be the last time she ever sees siuan, then - even after their fight and the strain on their relationship and initially refusing to kiss her - she still makes sure that the last thing siuan will remember of her is saying “i love you”
i would also like to point out that she says she knows two things: one is that the white tower must kneel to rand, but she doesn’t say the other, presumably because she can’t being herself to tell siuan that she is going to die

I wanna make it clear that I do not ship Aubrey and Kathryn
but their friendship makes me so happy. the obvious affection for each other makes me so happy. the way kathryn softens and brightens whenever aubrey is mentioned makes me SO HAPPY.
Aubrey outright calling Kathryn one of her safe spaces (along with amy and rashida) makes me SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY) because female friendships are so very important to me.
did agatha know about rio being nicky’s mother? does she really believe that she made nicky by herself? DID RIO KNOW???
I think that when he was fresh out the womb, she just assumed he was hers bc there was the assumption that death couldn't actually have children with mortals. And the reason he was gonna be stillborn was simply "it's the 1750's and we're living in the middle of the woods w/o proper nutrition/healthcare" and Rio let's him live as a favor to Agatha bc she loves her, no other reason
But then he gets a little older and Agatha starts to see Rio in his face and his personality (silly, whimsical, a little mischievous, but highly empathetic and a bit of a rule follower) and starts to realize that he's not only her son. He has his mother's eyes and her smile. He likes to skip around like she always did and he always finds the prettiest flowers and loves animals and isn't afraid of pretty much anything.
Agatha denies it to herself because the truth is so painful. She's kept her love away from their son.
No. Rio stayed away on her own. That's what she tells herself as the years go by and she doesn't see Rio. She's choosing not to see their son. She is CHOOSING to stay away because of her own shame and guilt. It's not Agatha's fault.
It can't be Agatha's fault that Rio and Nicky have never met.
Of course, Nicky and Rio HAVE met. Rio visited him when Agatha was sound asleep, when he started to fuss in the night.
Agatha thought he was just a good baby, that he didn't cry much at night, that he slept through til morning, didn't need his diaper changed or to be fed. She'd wake up and he'd be just fine.
But really Rio was taking over nightly duties. Rio was feeding him and changing him and rocking him to sleep, pacing with him and bouncing him and kissing his little head, his downy cheeks, his button nose...Rio was loving him the way he deserved to be loved by both parents.
As he gets older, she makes sure he knows how much she loves him. She kisses him twice on the cheek when she leaves ("one for you and one for Mama") and promises that one day he'll come with her. But she also makes sure he doesn't tell Agatha about her visits. Because she would get upset and Nicky hates it when she gets upset. So he keeps the secret and accepts his Mami's affection every night.
Then he feels her pull that last day, he knows that the shortness in his breath means that he's not going to live much longer. He immediately wants to see Rio. He runs toward where she would usually be, but she's not there yet.
When Agatha shows up behind him, he knows Rio won't be there for a while yet. He apologizes for not killing witches, but really he's apologizing for a lot more than that. He knows what's about to happen and how it will hurt Agatha.
When Rio comes to get him, he's ready. He's been waiting for this for years now, has always known that it was going to happen. He's so ready he nearly forgets before Rio reminds him to turn and kiss his mother goodbye.
He gives her two kisses: one for him and one for Rio.
Then he runs to his mother, taking her hand and following her across a bridge that wasn't there before. He's not scared. He knows what's happening. He's ready.
Mama will join them soon, he thinks, as he grips Mami's hand, and he'll wait for her for as long as it takes.
oh my GOD
