*Nikolai took one look at Kai and could tell he was little so she went and put the groceries away before going to sit next to Kai*

*Nikolai smiled and held lil!kai close, gently rubbing his back*
*snuggling closer, he says in a slightly insecure tone:*

*kai had already preped a spot for him at the desk and already filled a pot with water to clean the brushes*

*very excited lil!Kai, he was painting the air with a dry paintbrush while he doesnt have the proper paint (imaginary ones will do!)*
*Nikolai giggled and got some paints, poured them on a paper plate as a pallet, and tapped him on the head to get his attention*
*the moment niko put the plate on the table Kai was already invested on them, concentrated on making the perfect lines on the pot*
*Nikolai smiled and began painting his pot, first starting with the background which, for this one, was the night sky*
*after the second ladybug, somehow Kai had already made a mess. His cheek had a black brushstroke on it*
*Nikolai didn't mind since the art studio was made for making messes and continued painting his pot, now the background was done and she began painting what looked to be a person*
*the child was slow but enjoying every second of it. Sometimes Niko heard little giggles coming from him, who was laughing with his own self.
After some thirty minutes, he says:*
Done! Now the f'owers are safe from little animals trynna eating them!
That is a very pretty pot, honey! It's even better than mine!
*Nikolai tapped his node and showed him her pot, on which she had painted little!kai in his cow pjs with his cow paci, and little cows, koi, and ladybugs around him*

*He was so entertained on watching the bug that he hadn't seen @the-catsushi coming closer and, when he did saw it, it was already too late. The kitty pounces and grabs the moth!*

*Nikolai set Kai down and went to "scold" catsushi (he wasn't actually mad, she just wanted to pretend to scold catsushi to make Kai feel a little better*
*the kitty, with the moth in his mouth (alive), saw Nikolai coming closer and he immediately laid down, showing his belly as a sign of trust and give me cuddles*

*He sighed and began gently rubbing his belly*

*a fly passes near them. Catsushi starts to hunt it*
Nikolai chuckled and decided now would be a good time to start cooking while Catsushi was distracted

After a bit the salmon was ready so she plated it, wrapped it in foil, and put it in the warming drawer
*he chirps. The fly is too high on the wall, he needs someone to give him height*
Nikolai noticed and picked him up, holding him in front of the fly
*he looks to you*

*pounce! He almost caught the fly, but it flew away again, this time out of the window*

"Don't worry, кошеня. You'll get another chance"
She said, setting him down on the counter next to the packages of fish
*he lays down in a loaf*
"Now, how about we make tuna next?"
*just chilling, eyes closed and tongue slightly out*
"I'll take that as a yes"
He chuckled, kissing Catsushi's forehead

Nikolai soon got to work on cooking the tuna but decided to pan seer it this time with a bit of lemon and garlic
*the kitty settles down in a comfier position, soon he's fast asleep*
After a bit Nikolai finished making all the fish and cut off small portions of each one, putting them on different plates for him before waking him up with soft pets
"Wake up, кошеня"

*he lifts his head, looking a little lost after waking up. The tip of his tongue is slightly out in a adorable manner*
"Hey, кошеня. It's dinnertime"

*He stands up and stretches*
Nikolai picked him up and set him in front of the seven small plates of fish
"Look, кошеня! It's all for you!"

*he goes straight to the nearest plate, ready to devour it*
Nikolai smiled and watched as he ate his fish and got out the plate of salmon she had hid away for itself

Then a crash of something breaking!*
Nikolai finished putting the fish away then rushed to see if Catsushi was okay and also to see what had broken
*he broke a porcelain vase (was it important?), now shattered in pieces all through the floor. the cat hid under the bed, scared by the loud sound*

*She kneeled down, ignoring the broken vase Fyodor had given it as a present, and focused on making sure Catsushi was okay*
*his pupils were thin, and the creature visibly trembled*
