We’ve gotten some repeated questions on our interest check, and wanted to answer them as soon as possible!🎉
Many folks have asked some variation of the question above: whether the zine will be transparent, and whether mods will be responsible enough to do so.
There have also been questions about shipping, refunds, and other topics that would fall under the expertise of a finance, production, and/or shipping mod.
The short answer is: yes! We intend to be as transparent as possible with buyers, contributors, and everyone interested in the project. We want to hear from you just as much as you’d like to hear from us, so we’ll be keeping up with updates and welcoming questions!⚡️
The long answer: production and shipping are tough, and we don’t want to make any promises about shipping destinations, refunds, or wait times before we’ve even assembled our team!
As of now, we plan to hold mod applications at the same time as contributor applications. We hope that this project will become a physical one, but if there is a lack of interest shown on the IC, we may need to pivot. We have yet to decide who our finance, production, and shipping mods will be, so we don’t want to jump the gun by promising updates on certain days, etc! We intend to pick our mods wisely, and hope that you’ll extend us that faith! 🙌
No matter what, we will be providing updates as the zine process continues, and will have a clearer idea of the project on April 16th, when the interest check results are released!
