i feel lile the beasts in a way all corrupted due to futility shadow milk realized that nobody really cared what he had to say, just that they'd listen to whatever he say and believe it (or so i heard, somewhere), so there's no point mystic flour realized that granting everyones wishes only made people want for more and become greedy, so there's no point burning spice realized that despite the changing pattern of kingdoms (born, grow, wither) it's always the same and never truly changes. so. there's NO POINT

so im gonna wager a guess it's gonna be the same for the other two beasts; i would say eternal sugar tried to make everyone happy but realized it's nearly impossible so she just puts everyone in an eternal dream but that's a little too similar to mystic flour, but then again devsis could have their past reasons be similar for contrast (as mystic flour gave up entirely while eternal sugar tried something extreme) silent salt as the light of solidarity could have possibly worked themselves to the bone trying to uphold everyones expectations as a pillar, a leader and someone to guide, but nobody was there when they needed it leading to them realizing that solidarity isn't as spowerful as they thought. so. futility
