Hi All,

I know it’s been a while and I hope that you’re well.

I really don’t understand how I ever got to 102 thousand followers on this account, but it’s pretty much inactive at this point.

Anyways, a lot has happened since my last post a couple of years ago.

Let’s catch you up.

I’m still baking, but I mostly spend my time embroidering. But that’s not really news, now is it? Let’s get to the important things.

Last we spoke, I was living in Huntington Beach, California. These days, I reside in Glasgow, Scotland. A big change, right? Well, It’s been nearly a year now. I love it, I absolutely adore it here. It’s been one of my best decisions to date. I even met a lovely guy that I’m lucky to have by my side.

I’m now running a proper embroidery business via Etsy and I worked my first in person stall in Glasgow last week. I even have a website! I share all sorts of tips on how to create your own embroidery journal. This is a form of daily journaling, where everyday I stitch an icon that represents my day in some shape or form.

Late last year, I even had a couple of articles written about me, which was absolutely bizarre, but I’m not complaining. One by Better Homes & Gardens and the other by The Spruce.

If you’re interested in staying up to date with me, I’m very active on TikTok and Instagram. I’d love to have you there. If not, maybe you’ll catch me in a couple of years for another update.

Until then,

Sophie

The Stir-Crazy Crafter | The Recipe Pantry

Hello all!

It looks like it’s been a while since I was last on this account, about 6 months. Sorry about that!

I thought I’d offer you all a life update that I’m sure you’ve been on the edge of your seats waiting for: I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management, I started working in a hotel that I adored only to be furloughed a few months back, I still bake, and I’ve picked up a few new hobbies!

A few years ago, I started an Instagram that was a spin off of The Recipe Pantry which I posted my own photos of things I had made. Recently, I have given it a bit of a facelift and changed it into The Stir-Crazy Crafter. This account still features things that I bake, but it also showcases some of my embroidery projects like my journal where I design an icon based on my day and sew it into my 12-inch hoop. This Instagram account will eventually showcase my baking and whatever hobbies I take on next!

Lastly, I just opened an Etsy shop where I feature Embroidery patterns that I have hand crafted. They’re mostly focused on Pop-Culture like Parks & Rec, John Mulaney, etc.
