Everybody say thank you to talahu'i for hitting that button while I was experiencing public transit.

And so!!! That puts a cap on another amazing year of @theresonly1u!! It's be an incredible year watching you guys take risks with new mediums and structures, create hundreds of new works, compete with other fandoms, and generally have a great time making things with the fandoms and fans you love. I hope you all had a blast and will continuing to enjoy the works and comment as the weeks pass. I personally found several new favorite authors and read some works that haunt me and I hope you all did the same.

There’s Only One You - Winnipeg Jets Roundup

I saw a couple of these posts for other teams’ works for @theresonly1u so I thought I would make one for the Winnipeg Jets.

There are four works featuring current jets players and all four of them are fics. Three of them are debuting new pairing tags!

Hello everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful tapas of bespoke works. I know I personally have been going ham and a half, you are all so smart and chaotic and beautiful.

I've noticed some members of hockey and baseball fandoms doing round up posts for specific teams and that RULES and I wanna keep encouraging you all to do that!!! So I am going to start reblogging those later today in a queue set to post every couple of hours. I would love to see even more of them, so continue to tag the blog and I'll add them to queue.

edited to add - if you want to do pairing specific or player specific or trope specific or...literally anything lol, feel free to do so!! With 591 works, I know I'm overwhelmed with where to start, so these help a lot!

i got confused by prompts/fics deadline and by the time i realized fic deadline was 3/20 i had already set my mind on it being too late so. sorry? but would it be weird to credit a prompt long after the challenge is over or????

You can totally do that! You will not be able to add it to the collection, but you can absolutely credit the prompt when you post. I know people have done that before - there are a lot of great prompts that many of us just ran out of time to fill, but you're all still welcome to use the prompt list for inspiration and credit it.
