Flamingo Land Update, December 2024

Right, lads, this isn't the news I wanted to find out tonight, but Flamingo Land is highly likely to appeal the plans for a resort next year.

After 155,000 votes to reject the plans these fucks aren't getting the fucking message. I'd usually make a post about this a bit more elegantly but I'm fuckin pissed off.

Even with The Woodland Trust, The National Trust for Scotland, and many other groups supporting the rejection on it, Flamingo Land have been given an extension to their contract to appeal.

They've been at this for a decade. And if I gotta talk and fight about it for another decade so be it.

Hopefully, there will be more updates after Christmas and New Year. Don't let Flamingo Land wreck a community and protect our landscape and scenery. It is much more than just a pretty place.

Look, I could argue with you about charity shop prices and how customers seem to know the business for days and defend my work until I'm blue in the face.

But £1 is not fucking expensive for a book and you aren't worth my energy.
