A light knock on Emikos door was heard. You could hear something get placed on the floor, along with some faint footsteps.
Emiko opens it to the smell of fresh baked apple pie on a plate, along with a little note. It reads:
``Hey Emiko! I noticed you haven't been out as often so .. I decided to save you a slice of apple pie I made with someone! You don't have to eat it, just know I'm trying to check up on you.``

Emiko stares at the steaming pastry in disbelief. After everything that had happened, Harunii had the fucking willpower to make her a pie? She was bewildered, maybe for the first time in her life.
But she was probably being made fun of anyway. She wouldn’t tolerate that. In a swift motion, she smashed the food roughly with her hand, kicking it down the stairs of her porch and shaking the excess off her hand.
