summary:

Kaminari cuts himself off at the harsh sound of a sob, quickly followed by a snarl, and then a few more choked off cries.

All heads turn toward the cause of the sound- Bakugou- who sits hunched over his desk with his head in his arms, Midoriya scrambling to attempt and soothe him.

“Holy shit, is Bakugou… crying?”

Bkdk headcanon that Bakugou goes ALL out for valentine’s day- we’re talking a bouquet of roses, boxes of chocolates, a little All Might plushie, sneaking into Izuku’s apartment to cook him a fancy dinner for Izuku to come home to after work- the whole nine yards. Meanwhile Izuku completely forgets that the holiday exists, and screams when he walks in to find Bakugou in his kitchen, the lights dimmed as candles flicker

I’m rewatching MHA, and I can’t stop thinking about how there is a definitive series of moments where Bakugou begins to consider Izuku his friend once again, but how there was never that moment for Izuku- Because in his mind, they never stopped being friends. Even with all of Bakugou’s shitty behavior. All his mistakes, all his flaws. Izuku had no way of knowing that Bakugou would actually come around. Had no way of knowing if Bakugou could ever change.

But he waited for him anyway. One foot on the ground even as he jumped. Waiting for Bakugou to catch up to him.
