Thank you to the amazing @snarkatthemoon for making this edit for me!!! I really wanted a manip of Derek with the Serch Bythol tattoo he gets for Stiles in my fic Eight Hundred Steps Between, and I was shook that there was an actual scene from the show with the underside of Derek's wrist/forearm displayed AND the setting actually matched the scene too. THIS IS CANON TO ME NOW AHAHA.

When Derek got home, Stiles was sitting at the desk with his laptop and papers spread around him that Derek knew were applications to his shortlist of graduate schools.

how are we even having this conversation right now. how are we talking about scenes where buck sleeps with a man and then that man accuses him of being in love with eddie and then buck says he doesn't have to sleep with everyone he has feeling for and maddie asks him if he is in love with eddie and every time he goes to deny it the only thing he can say is that eddie is straight. how did we end up here.

There was an almighty crash of cymbals and Derek whipped his head over to the stage to see Drummer-boy launching into a pretty impressive drum solo. Since Derek had last looked, he’d removed his t-shirt. Derek found himself unable to look away from the pale expanse of his slightly-muscled torso, his eyes raking up and down the guy’s arms, and despite the speed of his movements, Derek could see that he had even more tattoos gracing his upper arms and shoulders. They all seemed to ripple and shift as he moved, as if they were alive..

Or, the one where Derek lives in San Francisco and owns a shifter-friendly bar is pretty happy with his life aside from the way his family is putting pressure on him to find a mate, as well as an emissary to help strengthen his claim on his territory. Stiles is a mage in a college band playing at Derek’s bar, and proceeds to take an interest in Derek. Can Derek convince himself that it’ll just be one night of harmless fun? Or does Stiles have the potential to bury himself just a little too deep under Derek’s skin?

I like age-ing them all up a bit but having some of the same things happen. It just gives everything a little bit of change that is refreshing.

Or, Stiles and Derek take little Luke on his first vacation to a place which holds a special place in Derek’s heart. Too bad Stiles is too busy being stressed and pregnant to fully enjoy it.

after a personal tragedy, stiles leaves everything he knows behind for a job as the new deputy in a small town called beacon hills. it seems like an idyllic place to make a fresh start. maybe with the help of the local bartender, derek hale, stiles will finally be able to lay his ghosts to rest. but not everything is as picture-perfect and easy going in beacon hills as he first thought, and maybe derek and his family have their own ghosts that need taken care of.

last movie: Oh wow I'm not sure. I don't really watch movies much these days...I started watching the Snowpiercer film recently so that I could watch the series, but I turned it off I because I just wasn't in the right headspace for it at the time.

currently reading: I'm currently re-reading Tamora Pierce's Alanna series. A favorite from my childhood, and there is a follow-up series that I never read! I just finished the first book in the original series and was so happy with how it's held up and the things I'm picking up on now as an adult reader.

currently watching: Criminal minds. I'm now almost done with season 13 and really vibing with it again. I'll be sad when I have finally finished all 15 season ahhh

currently consuming: uhhh nothing right now but I was going to make some oatmeal soon?

currently craving: a nap
