Colors: Purple is his favorite, but he likes blues and greens, too!
Animals: Oh my god. It's been years since he interacted with an animal. I think he'd like having a cat to snuggle, though. Its purring might make him feel better when he's having a bad time.
Flowers: He's a big romantic at heart, so flower meanings are something he's looked up before. For meaning specifically, his favorite is definitely moonflower ("dreaming of love"). Aesthetically, he appreciates the simplicity of things like daisies (bonus if they're dyed colors), but he doesn't have too much preference.
He would be over the moon if a romantic partner thought to give him flowers, though this is mostly an impractical dream because. You just don't get cut flowers in space. RIP.

I've been having a really bad time with the three-finger swipe to get the copy menu and the tap-and-hold for dragging colors to fill in spaces.
