30 mins into Last Light and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I have the last few books. I honestly don't care about Blue Team very much, but I will take any SPARTAN-II over a IV. Legitimately there hasn't been a single IV I've liked so far. Even Buck as a IV doesn't really work for me.

So far its mostly detective stuff and I'm enjoying that, and it seems like there's also some mystery and intrigue which I like, plus colonial government in conflict with UNSC always has good stuff to explore, even if the writers always take the imperialist perspective in the end
