You’re at a potluck. It’s a really really big potluck and you have a ton of people there, like over a hundred, and everyone is bringing a different dish with them.

Because of this, there are a ton of different tables where the foods are set up, and everyone is sitting at the table where they enjoy the food the best.

But there’s a lot of different food, and so you’re going to walk between tables getting all the stuff you want.

And while you’re doing this, you’re going to pass by tables with food at them that you don’t like. And often it’ll be food you’ve never seen before or tried, and sometimes that food looks gross or bad to you.

If you walk past that food and point at it and go ‘that’s disgusting!’ You’re an asshole! Because even if it’s food you don’t like, someone still worked really hard on it, right? And the people at that table who are enjoying it are going to feel really bad for enjoying it because you just called their favourite food disgusting!

When you go out of your way to walk across the hall from your table where you’re enjoying your food to point at someone else’s dinner and yell ‘EEEEEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD GROSS!!’ You’re UNEQUIVOCALLY AN ASSHOLE!!! Because you could have just stayed at your table where you like all the food but you went out of your way to tell them that their food sucks

If you walk past that food and point at it and say ‘I personally think that food is vile and gross and weird and disgusting BUT i don’t fault anyone for eating it :)’ you’re STILL an asshole because you came to THEIR table to point at their food and gawk at it while they’re eating.

Because you didn’t take the time to think ‘well they like that food, so it’s not my business.’ Or ‘I don’t have to eat that food, so I can just move on’ or ‘i probably just don’t like that food because I’ve never tried it before and I don’t know what’s in it, but they know, and they like it, so it’s not my problem’.

But most importantly of all, you never had to stop at that table at all. Because you aren’t eating the food there. Sometimes people will pass you and your table with food you don’t like, and even if you don’t like it, they’re just walking around the same potluck hall as you.

although proshippers will always find ways into fandom spaces here ar just some things I feel like will minimize the amount :3

1. Every character is based off a real person, you, or someone who gives consent, they also have to be a minor

doing this will stop NSFW art work given they are REAL children and drawings porn of those characters is cp, it'll also get rid of the headcanons, the only downside is that proshippers will age you up...??? uhh okay...😒

if you don't happen to be a minor this will be difficult, but maybe someone can find a loophole

this may also increase the chances of turning a character into a loli/shota which is disgusting

2. Explicitly state many times you are an anti whenever humanly possibly and public shame and share your disgust for proshippers

this will tell people you don't like proshippers, scaring them away from your fandom, and I'll give you extra points of you threaten to mass report and block any proship accounts because it's a boundary you set, a zero tolerance for proshippers, so their interest will drop

3. Don't give any characters any siblings or parents, don't even make them have a "sibling bond" with any characters, also have zero adult characters

obviously this will decrease your chance of pedophilia and incest, and giving zero adults so there is no chance of making a pedo groomer HC

but this will inevitably be the sad truth people will make insert OCs which you can't do much about
