♡Well I made this drawing to thank the support of many people. I never dare to rederize but I want to learn here, first try and I will see if I make one of bireena .

◇♡ Well for this drawing I had two challenges in mind which was to render and draw Cyrax and Sektor under my memory. I usually help myself with images to draw them so I don't forget details. But on this occasion I wanted to test how much I have recorded their versions. Here a human x robot as I thought it was fun.

♡ For this I used a base, which I got from Pinterest, and then I started the sketch, which I did with a “pen” brush. I did this trying to remember the robotic parts of Sektor and highlighting things that I like, like the design of his arms.

♡ to paint this, the truth was difficult and it took me a few hours, since as I said I don't usually render, but I want to learn how to do it . So here what I came up with was to do it as if I were painting in an oil painting, ie we do able and paint carefully giving shape , something I did was to put the sketch on top and guide me to paint each part. With Cyrax I struggled a bit when it came to coloring but I tried to match the colors with Sektor.

♡ Only use a watercolor brush which blends with other colors. Sorry this is in ottp language.

When I finished the drawing I marked the things that I felt I had to highlight, and for that I used a tip, which is to put the photo in black and white to check the color values.

Well folks here I came with a tidbit that doesn't pretend to be serious, just a curious theory that could get lost in a Mortal kombat Iceberg. Remember this is just a gossip.

Well before we start I'll explain a little bit of what this is all about, for those of you who have no knowledge about gossip surrounding the creator of Dracula and Dorian Grey, I'll sum this up for you. It turns out that the two writers were good friends but from one day to the next they drifted apart. Rumors pointed to a woman they both apparently loved, and that was said to have been the problem as she stayed with one of the two, however when Dracula and Dorian Grey was released. People raised an eyebrow, and it seems that the fiction of these stories left a little emphasis on what apparently happened between the two writers. It should be noted that both stories are very much about homosexuality, so that many stipulate that there was a romance between the creators and that this is reflected in their characters and story. Well here the characters that star our effect are Sektor and Cyrax ,sure you are wondering why, well to start this thread I want to make you the emphasis of considering the history surrounding these characters, now well why I put a magnifying glass to this, because it turns out that I found curious their history and even more their creators .

For those who don't know Ed Boon and John Tobias wrote the latter two for mk3. Since then their story has grown. However, has anyone analyzed the history of Sektor and Cyrax? When Tobias left the Mortal Kombat project, a lot of people were able to rumor things. As we know sometimes things come to an end but there is a lot of talk about Ed and John's relationship. So it makes us wonder what were the indifferences they had and everything surrounding it. Well maybe we only get little answers from them but I am curious about something surrounding Cyrax and Sektor.

As I said this is gossip , just to aja talk about something , I have come to consider if Cyrax and Sektor would come to be a reflection of what happened with Tobias and Ed, because let's consider a little of what the story of Sektor And Cyrax is about.

Let's start with the fact that both were apparently two colleagues who work together, that is to say, right hand and left hand, colleagues who not only had a project but also a dream. The curious thing about this is in the description that surrounds the characters and if we put the dracula and dorian grey effect in motion, we can say that ....

Tobias is Cyrax and Ed is Sektor. but how can we be sure? Well, as I already said, both are their creators, besides, being the creators of Mortal Kombat, wouldn't it be cool to have an insert in a character? I mean that two characters are references to their creators, we have already seen it with Noob Saibot, leaving history of their creators to the characters.

Now, let's analyze a little bit the description that Cyrax and Sektor have. Compared to their creators.

Cyrax being the sentimental of the two, someone who seeks to honor his clan but also honor their values, being a sentimental warrior. Curious thing to Tobias because it was known that he was looking to create a great story with Mortal Kombat, since referring to books for inspiration is the fact that he was very passionate about the construction of this, because even the negative reviews were something that affected him. Being very “Sentimental” ...

Sektor on his side was the technologist, it is noteworthy that Ed's job in mk is a programmer, ie the intelligent part of the staff, Sektor is called as a leader curious thing about his ambition to his project ... over time the story was growing but it is interesting how they reflect Sektor as the opposite of Cyrax, although we can say that it is the classic dynamic duo, it does not mean that after seeing it in this perspective we can find similarities with reality.

Although the history of Cyrax and Sektor are not defined to 100 in its beginnings, it is curious the history in choice that they had for these, I mean, that going from being comrades they have been rivaled as the story progressed. Being that little by little Cyrax and Sektor became more distant, even Sektor ended up leaving Lin kuei to create his own clan (similar to selling a company to open another one that does the same thing xd).

Also remember about how Cyrax wouldn't let Sektor run everything for him, being rebellious to this one . And as far as I know sometimes Tobias and Ed fought over the discussion of ideas.

Another interesting point is Sektor's obsession, something that is talked about in the game and will only leave him under the joke of a toxic guy, however as we already know , Sektor is the emphasis of someone who does not get over his comrade and literally acts like a toxic boyfriend, well it's funny that Ed Boon for a while (or to date) continues to have drama with Tobias, which despite the rumors that they were bad, it doesn't take away from his meddling with Sub zero and his decisions in order to tease Tobias' part a little bit. Having a strange obsession with remembering how much “hate” this . Being the same the rumor that Tobias was not allowed to leave the project even though he wanted to quit before, similar to when Cyrax could not leave Lin Kuei.

Now another curious thing is the outcome of the story with Cyrax in mk9 leaving Lin Kuei and finding peace in another place, while Sektor complaining to him and making clear his ambition to get more.

So our characters will be telling us a behind the scenes of something that happened or simply chance crossed with reality.

×Tobias said that MK was inspired by a Chinese book, curious thing Cyrax has a book of poetry which helped him to be inspired which called “feelings”. The curious thing is that as you know Asian literature was usually mixed with poetry because they were looking for the meaning of verses. And as I said if it were the case of in reflex , it would seek to make a parody of something .

It should be noted that in the same way Tobias said “I could not continue with a game that had no soul, no purpose” curious thing these two words are mentioned a lot to Cyrax, who thinks he no longer has a soul to be machine and seeks its purpose, it should be noted that the idea of cyborg could be metaphorical to what Tobias said about removing the soul something without any purpose, except to use.

×Another thing is that as we know Ed likes the trolling part, not to say that they have to make fun of fans or even his colleagues, being curious that of all the stories that could change, focused precisely on the characters that revolved in Tobias and there was the constant joke of “The sentimental cyrax”.

Also noteworthy is the change they made to Sektor and Cyrax, strangely leaving their story of “toxic comrades” but strangely Sektor (Ed) is again obsessed with Sub zero and Cyrax also but that he overcame (the subzero Kuai Liang) will perhaps be a confirmation of this drama (?) Remember that Tobias liked subzero so much that he built him a story that in the end was taken by someone else ....

So we have in front of us a dracula and dorian grey or maybe it was just a simple coincidence. Let's remember that sometimes authors reflect their lives in their creations.
