New devlog on my blog!

In which I talk more about Game Design than game dev because that's what I've been doing lately.

As I'm getting more and more into gamedev, I'm going to move my gamedev posts on this art blog with the tag "Tootkin Dev"! I hope this will be easier to navigate than my main where i reblog en masse everything I like.

It was a joy to illustrate the classic shenanigans of a DnD campaign, here's Poppy the halfling and her summoned giant rock pet Pebble fighting against three very unfortunate kobolds who were just trying to steal a chest by disguising themselves in a trenchcoat.

I made my own critter for Critter Café (for a small contest on JustAbout), of course I had to make a goblin! Tried to keep the signature style of very round shapes, big round eyes and no mouth.

Their name is Gobliblin!

Commission work I finished recently!

That was a big illustration with a total of 10 characters and 2 environments, one of each fully rendered. I had a blast though!

The second picture is a close up upside down of the sketch the halfling is drawing, cause I'm quite proud of it!

The photo is already very pretty, I just thought it would be cute to have a small goblin in there, so I spent a small half hour doodling it! I love it, it makes me very happy to see it. It's a great motivation to keep my desktop clean x)
