Today's episode is the most uncomfortable episode that I have ever watched. (In a good way but still)

I honestly have the theory that Rise is actually Sun but some one cast a spell on him or something like that before finishing the ep.

Like that Rise dude, he genuinely thinks he is Sun. He believes he loves Dazzle, he believes he and Moon are brother and Moon wouldn't do anything bad for him.

And in the different way, he is right. He has Sun's memory, he actually Sun's back up. He is just like Eclipse V2. Or V4, though he closed with the original than V4.

Because like... If the machine doesn't have a soul, then what for us to decide what exactly an individual needs?

It's.... The level of screw up when both Molten and Jack keep him down, when Moon threatened to end his life and proceed to overdrive his memory while he screaming in pain is kinda nauseous to watch.

And even Sun feels it too. Like Sun just standing behind the Moon, and not to dare to say anything and I feel like it really hit too close home for him because that is what Moon used to be ... And he feels cruel even if the violence Moon throws on Rise does not actually harm him and just his brother tries to protect him.

Because the Moon now... He is just a baseline, a back up. He is not actually the old moon. He is not the actual one who got locked and reset inside his own mind. The only difference is that there is one Moon, and there are already two Sun....

Maybe this is why Moon feels so aggressive this episode towards Rise, because it makes him think about himself? Thinking about what he is?

This episode leaves me with a lot of thought...

Sidenote: Jack looks so cute this episode!!!

Yeah.... This episode was like disturbing, not because who Rise looks, but how he was treated.

He thought he was Sun, he fully believed that, and he fully believed that Moon was his brother that he was with his family. That they would do everything together, that they'd give up the world for one another. And then they all started to mistreat him, and calling him fake. Telling him that he isn't real.

Then to rub salt on the wound, Moon tells at him starts threatening him like old times. While he believes an imposter has taken his place. He watches his life get ripped from him. That's horrifying.

And then Moon overrides his head, making him realize it was all a lie. And how he suddenly just stopped, all of his old motivation, gone. He was so empty, and so scared....

Definitely the most horrifying episode I've seen....

Also Jacks little movements were so cute! I squealed each time he did something cute!!! ALSO HE HAS LITTLE DINO HANDSSSS!!!

This Rise situation remind me of Fern from Adventure Time

So with the terrible Minecraft movie trailer dropping,

I've seen a lot of people bringing up better stories in the world of Minecraft, like Story Mode or the books or the SMPs, but may I add another option that would be a way better use of your time and money than the Minecraft movie (esp cuz its free)?

Animation Vs. Minecraft

(Note: contains out of context spoilers for this series to give you a sneak peek of what's waiting for you)

There's a good chance you've seen the first video, since it's one of the most watched minecraft videos on youtube, made by the same guy who did Animation vs Animator.

But did you know that the stick figures pick the game back up and continue the series?

There are now three completed seasons packed with fun episodic content that naturally blossoms into a larger, engrossing story that amounts to /several hours of animated content/. It's got fun characters, gorgeous fight scenes, and even musical numbers, all told with next to no dialogue!

The whole thing is a love letter to Minecraft, with way more passion and knowledge of the game than WBS.

New episodes would show off the latest updates, like when the main characters explored the ancient cities and lush caves before they were officially released.

There are even homages to the Minecraft animation community, such as the episode featuring Monster School (my favorite part of this is the way they purposefully imitate the old janky animation in Herobrine's movements)

Not a fan of piglins always being villains? While there's certainly some bad piglins in this series (though I'd argue they're under duress), the main cast also befriends some, include this adorable piglin child.

Still not over Reuben's death from MSM? Well they've also got a pig (named Reuben by the community), and it both doesn't die, and occasionally does some badassery himself!

Speaking of the action, this series doesn't just reference minecraft's world and creatures: it expands on the mechanics and worldbuilding, creating avenues for some truly incredible action that can only be achieved within minecraft. It takes full advantage of the medium and world.

My personal favorite example of this is the team's expansion on the Lucky Blocks mod, exploring the idea of a "randomizer" power to its fullest extent.

The action scenes are the kind where you have to watch them five times over because each character is doing something completely unique and fun.

Here is all the episodes of season 1 compiled in one video to get you started, though there are also playlists out there:

All in all, this series is funny, gripping, and adorable, and is worth your attention far better than some corporate schlock.

I think the funniest thing about the "More Faces" short is the fact that Second clearly drew those faces on King and Purple thinking "Okay so this is the one that's angry all the time, and this one's the sad little bitch that cries", before Green made him get his act together. Second may be a good guy at heart, but he's also a savage.
