HandsOff2025.com World Wide Protest

On Saturday, April 5th, we rise up with one demand: Hands Off! This is a nationwide mobilization to stop the most brazen power grab in modern history. Trump, Musk, and their billionaire cronies are orchestrating an all-out assault on our government, our economy, and our basic rights—enabled by Congress every step of the way. They want to strip America for parts—shuttering Social Security offices, firing essential workers, eliminating consumer protections, and gutting Medicaid—all to bankroll their billionaire tax scam. They’re handing over our tax dollars, our public services, and our democracy to the ultra-rich. If we don’t fight now, there won’t be anything left to save.

There are several protests across the world, across the nation, and across your state! Fight fascism and find one in your city! This is not a time to let others take the lead. Call in sick. Drop your kids off with grandma. Show up. Be heard. WE WON'T BACK DOWN!

Outside of the United States:

For those living outside of the USA, or if you absolutely cannot make it, SHARE! Annoy your friends. Blast social media. Get. The. Word. Out!

The war has returned once again, and my children and I are still living in tents, caught between relentless bombings and the crushing grip of starvation. Every day feels like an endless nightmare, and the life I once dreamed of for them has turned into unbearable suffering.

The crossings have been closed for over a month, and humanitarian aid is not allowed in. There is no food, no water, no medicine… only fear, hunger, and the freezing cold. Everything we have is running out, and my children—Hussein (7 years old), Rajaa (5 years old), and Youssef (1 year old)—look at me with pain in their eyes, asking when they will eat, when they can go home… and I have no answer.

On cold nights 🌙 and under the sound of the bombing 💥, my children whisper to me: "Mama, is there anyone here to help us?" 🥺💔

I beg you, please don’t leave us alone to face this fate.

You are our only hope… Please don’t turn a blind eye to our suffering. Any help, no matter how small, could mean the difference between life and death.

🔴 Donate now—save innocent lives.

✅️Vetted by @90-ghost and @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #245 )✅️

In conclusion, I would like to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to my wonderful friend, @bureauen 💓, who stood by my side and supported me and my children by creating these amazing artworks for me and my family. 🌟🎨 Your help has been a light in our darkness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my friend 💖🙏.

The evolution of (trans) man.

(Well, this one, anyway.)

  • Age 9: "Tomboy"
  • Age 15: Strictly enforced femininity
  • Age 30: Hitting the mental limits of being closeted all his life and about to crash HARD
  • Age 47: Fifteen years now since starting transition. Far more good days than bad, no regrets.

The world may be full of uncertainty and danger, but I resolve to continue to find joy in who I am. Be joyful to be kind to yourself and be joyful to spite the bastards who would tear us apart.

my mom is playin fuckn animal crossing in real life

she got this painting for $75 in an old case at an antique market shes been going to for years, and she thought it looks really beautiful, so she sent an email to a local art center to have it appraised

and now she has an art conservator in her emails making a plan to have her come bring it in to be appraised as a genuine Hokusai wood block print from over a hundred of years ago

thats so fucked up to me. my mom went fuckin shopping at Crazy Redd's

no joke, she got it at an antique market. but she didnt even buy the painting. she bought a bag that the painting was in, cuz she's an artist.

when she got home, the bag fell over, and the painting fell out. into the lap of an unsuspecting small town idaho girl (my ma) (that's how she described it).

movie shit.

I see this post all the time and I'm so confused. Most people throughout history were busier than your average resident of a developed country is now. My primary reaction to reading about the past since I was a child has been "I'm glad I don't live then, I'm too weak for that, I could not do that much work all the time."

In the past things took longer to do but they often required a waiting period. You had to chop wood, put it in your stove, and light it, but it took a few hours for it to get hot enough for baking and then another hour for the bread to fully cook. History books will say things like "It took 4 hours to make a loaf of bread" but they don't mention that you only had to do actual work for a fraction of that time and the rest could be devoted to other tasks or relaxing for a while

Employee workload has doubled or tripled because of modern technology. It makes things faster but also creates less downtime which employers have filled with more responsibilities. You can do more work in a 10 minute period if all the files are on the computer but in the olden days you got to take a short walk to the filing cabinet and let your mind wander while you thumbed through folders, which means a modern 10 minutes of work is more mentally exhausting. The amount of work one employee has to do today used to be split between 2 or 3 people. We lost those moments of downtime we used to get by having to do things the slow way

ethics of making AI images aside, I do find a bit amusing the kinds of sob stories and mental gymnastics people make up to pretend like drawing is this super technical skill with an impossibly high barrier of entry when its like one of the first hobbies toddlers pick up

suddenly a lot of people think they got the next Lord of the Rings in their head but they were never able to turn their stories into anything tangible because the evil elitist artists are hogging all the talent and skill and they need a bajilion years of training or something as if one of the most popular manga and anime of the past decade wasn't made by a guy that draws like this
