I can’t relate to people my age saying they feel like they’re mentally still 18 or 21 or whatever. maybe because I’ve been through a lot but I’m a grown woman and I feel like it. I still have a long way to go but I’m stronger and wiser than I’ve ever been. I don’t yearn for younger years or wish I could go back. those were good times but I’ve grown and moved on since then. aging and maturing is a beautiful thing, I love the journey and who I’ve become… I think the obsession with youth and adolescence is sad and a bit odd
