Ive been to this art installation when it was in Seattle it was made by an indigenous artist if I remember correctly it has small patches of astroturf in front of a black and white American flag with a sign that invites people “kneel and join in the screams of the American national anthem”

Please tag me if you can find it!

This piece is called Neon American Anthem bu indigenous artist Nicholas Galanin “to mourn the loss of lives, freedoms, and safety for people and lands subjected to American violence, and to protest continuing oppression.”

FURRY ART CAN HAVE WOMEN?

THERE'S ALWAYS JUST LIKE TIGERS AND WOLVES WITH BIG MUSCLES AND STUFF??

Demily. Demily I need you to look at me closely. There is so much furry Yuri. There is so much.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE FURRY YURI

Literally just type it into a search engine. "Furry Yuri"

HOLY SMOKES

THEY ARE KISSIGN

Furries aren't necessarily sexual either

Sometimes i feel like younger queer kids are getting a bit to bold with openly talking to people they don’t know In The Context Of:

More than once i have had a younger/same age queer person come up to me in public settings and say something about “finding other gays” or clearly clocking me as nonbinary and I’m like :)))))))) hey buddy I’m here with my conservative parents can you fucking not out me :))))))))

Just say you like my outfit or hair and move on, fuck even tell me you like my shoelaces. Don’t call me gay and limp your wrist at me when you don’t even know me? Especially when there’s a bunch of ppl around?

i was out with my ex once when three *very* young queer kids, like thirteen years old, came up to us and asked us “are you guys, you know…” and did the limp wrist thing at us. one of them loudly exclaimed that it was so cool to meet other queer people in real life. this was in public in an unbelievably conservative area - we didn’t even feel safe holding hands because we were surrounded by Mormons. we got lucky that day, but I’m begging y’all to remember that the world doesn’t work like the internet. other queers are real fuckin people. don’t do this shit. OP is right; tell me you like my jacket, or my patches, or the rainbow spokes on my wheelchair, but don’t out either of us!

This used to be standard operating procedure not even ten years ago: NEVER OUT OTHER QUEERS, even if they’re supposedly already out. Never assume that it’s okay to let third parties know that so-and-so is queer. Ever. You never know when you’ve found the one uncle with the heart condition that they can’t bear to risk telling, or the one neighbor who’s just threatening enough that they don’t mention it around, or even the grandma that they haven’t gotten around to mentioning it to yet. You might have just ruined a very important milestone for someone, or you could have put them at actual risk of harm.

Also… stop freaking assuming. If you don’t see a pride flag on them, please don’t just assume. You can’t tell ANYTHING about a person’s gender or partner preferences by what they’re wearing on any given day, what their hair looks like, or whether or not they’re using makeup. You legit cannot, and you look like a jerk when you try.

this is even more important now that Trump is in power.

some people will be choosing to live in the closet and it is not your job to pressure them one way or the other.

protect your lgbtq siblings - honor their choices - and never talk to cops, collaborators, and snitches.

Younger queer people have grown up in a better world, but we’re in a time of backsliding right now. Do NOT out other queer people. Also, I’m not gonna tell you how to present yourselves in public………..but please, I am begging you to re-evaluate HOW safe you are in the current climate.

(on a post about the switch 2 being $450)

im going to be honest i think people vastly underestimate how much it takes to emulate things for good quality and how intensive piracy & emulation are. by all means im for it but you realize building a pc that can run emulators well and safely skirt viruses with torrenting is like a pretty hefty investment both timewise and moneywise. i Get that most of this website is inclined toward doing that investment because this is a website and audience bias means more technology based people will be making opinions on this. that being said: $450 is like nowhere near enough for a good quality self built pc. what the fuck are you talking about. unless youre just incredible at refurb and finding parts for a deal.

this website has many many people who just do not understand the circumstances in which piracy is the answer as well as the fact piracy is an open secret that you should be careful about discussing OR understanding the circumstances in which it would be more beneficial to not pirate something. i had a post blow up when minecraft was having a sale last year for $15 and people kept chanting to pirate instead and open their home ports for a server to the point that i was honestly appalled at like... you realize the reason people want a legal minecraft account is to play multiplayer with friends. you realize not everyone has the safety measures in place to safely operate a multiplayer server on a home port. nor the machine able to do that. many people on this website vastly overestimate the average person's abilities to be technologically competent to the point it is legitimately dangerous for privacy concerns to be suggesting the things you may be suggesting!! and it drives me up the wall!! have some CONCERN or understanding of other people's machines and technology that not everyone is as tech literate as you!!!!!!! you CANNOT just tell people to jump straight into the fire with Just pirate! or Just open your modem's ports for a server! or Just crack the game! This shit can be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. Teach safety with doing all of this is what I'm saying. Be careful.
