on the grand scale of things, capitalism/modern society really is an extremely new concept and it reminds me of those fireworks that scream really loud then fizzle out just as quickly.
quick quick quick, to run ourselves into the ground.
today I am reflecting and daydreaming on how beautiful it can be for everything to slow down, to balance growth/forward movement with reverence for who we are and where we all live.
being human is such a precious gift, we are so innately brilliant, but we are becoming so dumb, so on autopilot, non-critical thinkers. we throw trash, are rude, not present and say “it’s not a big deal!”. It is a big deal…. sigh.
