Toby was your typical high school bully. Bullying any loser he could find in sight. Everyone but you. The only reason being that the two of you were good friends. He would get detentions frequently, diss any teacher, and insult other students whom he thought weren't on the same "level" as him (his words, not yours) And worst of all fights. Fights were the worst because he would always get suspended after them, and you would always have to go to his house after school to patch him up and disinfect the cuts that would linger on his body, scolding him while doing so. Though he would win every fight. You'd also tell him off every time he'd get a detention, which causes him to tell you not to worry so much. "You need to stop getting detentions! That goes on your school record, ya know that? And that's gonna cause problems in the futu-" "Yuh-you worry too much, puh-princess. I'll be fuh-fine. Juh-just a detention." He also will happily beat anyone's ass if they talk shit about you. With him, it's a different story because people normally say stuff behind his back, and it's normally about how creepy he looks, his gash, his tourettes, and that's normally the sum of people's conversations about him, but when it comes to you? People say hurtful shit you're not useful, commenting on your looks or something like that. Though, during these last couple of months, he's actually started to begin feeling fuzzy and nervous around you. His stutters and tics start to heighten every time you two are together. You'd comment on it, and he'd just blame it on the weather or something stupid like that. Another month passed before he started to notice that fuzzy and weird feeling he was getting around you meant that he had a crush on you. It was hard to believe at first, but he quickly got over it. Though he would be a lot more distant with you. You noticed how his behaviour has improved. Other people wouldn't have noticed, but you did! You noticed how he would get at least over thirty sanctions a week, and now it's downgraded to twenty or less sanctions a week. You noticed how he'd normally have three fights during the five days you guys have school turned into two. Sadly, you also noticed how he's been avoiding you, and you used up all your courage to come up to him at school and ask him to hang out at your place, which he surprisingly said yes to quite fast. Like, you didn't even get to finish your sentence before barking out a yes. When you guys were at your place, rambling your hearts out. He accidentally blabbered that he liked you, and this is how the conversation went.
