Hey!! I'm an alterhuman who has been awakened for a little over a year!! I've done HEAVY research and internal thinking to get to this point🐺

(I prefer silly terms like 'dragon', 'wolf', 'creature', 'thing', and 'monster' instead of person, but i won't correct you! I just feel more animalistic :P)

It is interesting how many therians and even kins know their looks before anything else and by that they can narrow down what animals or anything else they are.

While I have no idea what I look like. My shifts dont have color. I based my therio/kintypes of how I act and feel and not how I look. Its quite annoying not knowing how you look, cant make accurate art or anything.

I agree as someone who figured out my kintypes' looks. But I usually find my behavior to be an indicator of anything before figuring out what I look like. It's a weird experience, but sometimes I can like see my full animal self roaming around at the same time my vessel walks, if that makes sense??? As my vessel walks I feel my paws walking, and its really weird, so I see what I look like

As for coloration and stuff, I try to look at images of whatever kintype I have and see if it resonates with me, but it sometimes comes to me in a dream (not even joking)

but i get it, its gotta be hard not knowing what you look like, im sorry :{

HI !!!

Day 2 + 3: (otherkin journalling)

History/Development:

I think my otherkin identity came from my intense warrior cats phase in all honesty! But the one part of my childhood that really stuck out was when I'd pretend to be a werewolf and act very wolf-like, getting upset when I wasn't referred to as one.

As a kid I thought I was normal, and as I got older I was in the furry fandom. I wondered why I felt so strange about my fursona and why I felt so connected to it. And as of recent I'm now very aware of my alterhumanity, and I think my life has changed for the better now that I know<3

How/Why I'm otherkin:

Kind of explained it over there, but the deeper explanation is that an ex of mine turned out to be a therian! And I was very supportive obviously, and they were very kind towards me about it. I thought I was a fox at first because of how connected I felt to them, but I didn't feel like I was one.

The ex of mine was a wolf, and I did more research on therianthropy, but I put it off for years. Thinking it was a phase or something. But this past year I actually got back to thinking, and I was right.

I am an alterhuman, and never really fit in to begin with, that's why I'm otherkin. That's why I'm me.

I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I never met them, because I would have never known about this community.
