hello! i'm edwin, i'm 22 yrs old, gay transguy, and i make art! this is my art sideblog, here is my main, though it's entirely just reblogs

but all my drawings are collectively tagged with "my art", and my individual ocs and fandoms are usually tagged as well with "ocs -> [name]"

my interests are constantly changing but you'll see me return to fallout, dragon age, borderlands, and my own ocs/d&d characters the most. I'm extremely passionate about science as well, specifically chemistry and physics, and more specifically nuclear chemistry and theoretical + quantum physics! I hope to be going to school for chemistry soon :)

i don't do commissions (yet?) but if you're so passionate as to send me requests or things you'd like to suggest i draw i am always willing to at least try and draw them if I have time

#intro post#never made one of these before.............intimidating#but my art has been going around a lot lately + im socializing more on here so i figure I should probably#have a more in depth introduction than whats in my bio

I went to a fun little thing with my mum today, which is like a botanical garden on top of a mountain BUT they made a gallery out of it to put impressionist paintings in their natural habitat (outside amidst the flowers)

They even build a Monet inspired pond complete with the boat and bridge and water lilies and everything!

Anyway I think this how you are supposed to see them. Surrounded by the rustle of leaves and the scent of the very same flowers and surrounded by life! Impressionism was a movement about art depicting life and being part of life and against stuffy elitism. I've seen original Monet's in galleries before but seeing a replica overgrown with moss looking at a pond, sitting under some wisteria trellises ... it just hits differently!
