There are multiple iterations of our reality all running on code. Even one world may contain repetitions of a timeframe. But variants of the world may have more altered content than just timelines.

The first step to studying this multiverse, the alternates that compose it and the codes that generate them, is to observe it. To collect data.

Why this page exists.

Many years ago, the original Underplayer comic was created by a Chinese artist known simply as Yunan. The blog originally hosted at this URL, created by a friend of Yunan’s, translated that comic to English.

It seems that some time in 2019, the original comic, in addition to this English translation, were deleted from the internet. Fortunately though, a user by the name of @mrtecno98 has managed to recover all that was lost, and the full comic can now be accessed through the links in the above posts.

So, as a devout fan of the Underplayer AU, my announcement to all fans of the comic (and various comic dubs) is this: “Underplayer never dies!”

The Violet Banquet (2025) - A UTMV RP Event has ended.

Thank you, everyone, for coming to The First Violet Banquet. We really appreciate that you took time out of your life to attend the banquet. We'll be hosting future parties soon, so keep an eye out for that!

We'd also like to remind everyone of The Violet Banquet in 2026 (February 12). We'll be taking suggestions and critiques from this event and implementing them in our 2026 Banquet.

"And where is it being held?" It is unclear if it was just how those words would've been enunciated or someone actually shifted their head slightly to glance at Ccino. "Why, here of course..." He spoke, beginning to speak more slowly as he felt an odd, subtle wave of ominosity on his shoulders. Perhaps it was just uneasiness that sprouted at this peculiar time, or maybe there was something... more enigmatic going on, and he couldn’t pinpoint it. He stayed rather cautious, and sipped his concerns away. Someone seemed to give that answer some regard. "…And as long as you are 'here,' you are still 'somewhere,' you would say." Although phrased like a statement, something indicated it was meant as a question. Perhaps it was the vague sense of an expectant stare on him. Putting his cup down, Ccino doesn’t do much else but let on a small nod, then really listened. Everything felt... muted. Drowned out. Though quietness and this sense of anticipation weren’t things that put him at ease, his subtle tensions nullified it. His shoulders rolled back before he leaned again, sitting down more laid-back. "Well. I’d prefer to be ‘here’ or ‘somewhere’ rather than ‘nowhere’—" Ccino responded, swirling his coffee— "...You understand that. Don’t you?" "Oh, very much so…" There was something heavier behind those words. The corner of a frown could be seen from under the familiar shape of that headpiece that he didn't, and perhaps wouldn't, quite recognize. And then she was gone. And everything else was still here. Everyone else and himself were still here.

...Yeah, I caved at the event. The Archivist herself made a few guest appearances at the Violet Banquet, so I guess that means this would be a good time to reveal this piece of concept art I'd been holding onto.

The true face of @utmvarchive isn't actually Blueberror. He just answers the outsiders and prints her research so it doesn't vanish every time she does.

After being extended by two days, the Violet Banquet's beta run has now concluded.

That means I can now share the Google doc I'd made to document events as they happened. Expect this doc to have more content in over the next few days– there's still a lot of scenes and subplots left to add summaries for, and I knew by the end of the first day that I wouldn't be able to write down everything without the help of other attendees. Thank you all so much for the help, by the way. This workload would've felt impossible by myself.

So if you missed out on the Violet Banquet 2025, the UTMV group rp event held over the 9th anniversary of Muffet's Love Ball, here's a chance to catch up on everything you missed.

Also expect some bonus content in the future. There is already at least one epilogue/spin-off underway, as a follow-up arc for one of the guests.
