Some Thoughts on the DMC Netflix Adaptation

I tried to keep an open mind about this show because I wanted to give it a chance, and hearing people complain about adaptations being different is tiresome.

But overall I just came away feeling mildly disappointed. Clearly they don’t understand the source material, because they have stripped away very load-bearing parts of what makes DMC, DMC.

like this is kinda cute how alucard imitated integra when he needed to look "good" or somewhat "beautiful" in his standard (like he intentionally dressed up even integra said he looked "different than usual") he looked so much like her here just inverted in colour palette 😭 as if tying their ties in the same style wasnt enough
