some stats: if you're a MotoGP™ rider... you're gonna be a girl dad! 🎀

disclaimer: the accuracy might not be 100% correct, because for some the data was unavailable and there could be calculus errors, so please take these statistics with a grain of salt! :)

let's start with a quick statistic of the current 2025 grid: there are 7 dads (Miguel Oliveira, Maverick Viñales, Álex Rins, Jack Miller, Joan Mir, Luca Marini, *Brad Binder → *not born yet) out of the 22 official riders, of which 5 are girl dads (Oliveira, Viñales, Miller, Marini, *Binder), therefore there's a ~31,8% rate of riders beings dads and amongst these a ~71,4% one of being girl dads!

ok so, up until 2025 (since 2002) there have been 157 official active MotoGPriders:

apparently, ~46,5% of them (73 riders) had at least a child (no matter the gender) and amongst these a whopping ~74% had at least one daughter (54 riders); while about ~63% of the dad riders had at least one son (46 riders).

then, ~33,3% of these girl dads (18 riders) had 2 or more daughters, which means that ~24,6% of all the dad riders had more that one daughter.

concerning the boy dads, even less (9 riders) had 2 or more sons, only ~19,5%; this means that ~12,3% of dad riders had more than one son.

specifically, just ~35,6% (26 riders) of all the dad riders had both a daughter and a son. Oh, and merely ~4% had twins (3 riders)!

here's a last full chart with all the data:

therefore, at the moment, if you're a MotoGP rider you have a ~34,3% chance of becoming a girl dad... Congratulations! [and ~29,2% chance of becoming a boy dad :)]

oml diggi's post race interview is sooooooo harsh on alex, jesus fucking christ...

the word "dangerous" NEEDS to fall. imperative that you connect the marquez name to the word dangerous.

"he never came to our garage to say sorry" i wonder why lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

@myheartwillgrosjean thank you for letting me know!!!

okay so according to diggi its FIIIIIIIIINE if he barges into joan and gets a drop one position for irresponsible riding bc its "not race-ruining" but alex is unskilled and dangerous. again, yeah, diggi ran wide, so did alex. alex lost a front wing also!!! but he said sorry, refocused, rejoined in p8, made his way up the field immediately. diggi was set to rejoin in p14 or p15, but for some reason ends up in p21, then spends the next ten laps doing what exactly? "i had the speed for the podium" where?

like immmmmm sorry but to talk like that when alex is fully accepting, making no fuss (even though, looking it back, he actually had a moment right before bc of diggi's speed post overtake)... okay. i'll remember that next time you run into someone lol

he also said in the interview that he’s just glad martin is mostly okay… and he’s really not??? idk if he just hadn’t heard yet but the end of the interview not age well at all

poor jorge, not a fan of him really but this guy can’t catch a break. 6 posterior rib fractures and a chest tube placed for the the pneumothorax is so unfortunate. he looked so bad on the side of the track.

also am i crazy thinking diggia bumped him and that’s a factor in the crash? because if so why has diggia gotten to blast alex on main but not received his own penalty?
