i mean normal advisor

the dynamic between two people who love a third person so much and come to understand each other because of that is so important to me. you would put them first, and so would i. you understand why we have to save them from themself. i trust you with their life, and so, that means more than if i trusted you with mine. the love doesn't have to be the same, but it's powerful enough that you understand why you're not the only satellite drawn into their orbit.

one of my pet peeves is when people write tomarry/harrymort and the whole fic is “explicit/dead dove/blah blah” serious stuff and they make tom all soft. like he’s still doing heinous shit in the back but he’s only ever “soft” with harry.

like i feel like its a cop-out to make tom a raging maniac to everyone BUT harry. i get that for some people, the appeal is the whole “i hate everyone but you” and i’m also a victim to that, but if u are already writing a fic where tom is being the most bad guy ever, i feel like its only makes sense to make him bad to harry too

crazy people dont become “normal” just for one person.

BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN I WANT HARRY TO JUST TAKE IT!!!! i want him to fight back against tom. i want them to have the most insanely mutual violent relationship ever where they throw spells at each other just to patch the other up. i want them to slam the other against walls, wands at their throats, only to ice their bruises later.
