Joel from Vinesauce, I stream video games and make videos on youtube too. I like metal and dick jokes. http://www.vinesauce.com/ https://www.youtube.com/c/VinesauceJoel twitch.tv/vargskelethor twitter.com/joel_vinesauce

From July 21st to July 23rd, vinesauce.com will be streaming to raise funds for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation! Last year the community raised over 100k USD, which goes towards funding research grants that help children with cancer. Please consider watching, sharing, and donating! Even just 1 dollar goes a long way.

Here’s the schedule for the stream; https://horaro.org/vshope2017

Reblogs are encouraged!! The more the word gets out, the more donaters we can find! Even if you can’t donate, spreading the word is one of the best things you can do to help this cause.

Big News Everyone!

Starting Friday (among other things) is the Vinesauce Charity Stream!

A once a year charity event where the Vinesauce team stream games and take donations for PCRF! If ya have some free time during the weekend feel free to stop by and watch some cool people stream cool (and not so cool) games for a good cause!

I’ll be attending the whole thing so art will be kinda slow this weekend (I may sneak in some doodles or finish up some coloring). Even if ya cant donate, just tune in and watch some quality content.

Lets raise some hope for the kiddies!

If you haven’t already please make sure you click on the bell icon on all vinesauce youtube channels to get all notifications from them. Otherwise you miss stuff from me and the rest of the crew. Noticed a dip in view and sub count on both channels that I can only explain as videos not reaching people. Youtube has a bad system that expects that by “Subscribing to watch all of a youtuber’s content” you only want to watch some of it. You can correct this by clicking the bell.

Send me pasta sauce recipes, I’m serious. I just learned how to make a good white sauce and I’m feeling adventurous. Educate me how to make a good sauce! perhaps I can take a picture or two.

“For some reason or another, I’ve decided that 2017 is going to be the year that I make that major breakthrough on my childhood bullying trauma that’s prevented me from trying to talk to men my own age. I’m not entirely certain as to why this happened, but I have some ideas. The project I’m working on, the Autism Gaming Initiative, is hopefully going to be a monthly charity gaming stream once I have it in gear where the group of us - all autistic gamers - stream for as long as we can to raise money for the Autism Self-Advocacy Network and Autism Women’s Network. I wouldn’t have even thought to do this, however, if it weren’t for a group of streamers who I’ve been watching quite a bit lately. You can thank the fine folks at Vinesauce and their charity streams benefiting pediatric cancer research for motivating me to do this - I was watching part of an older charity stream and saw them reach their fundraising goal, and hearing them all chiming in on their audio chat and thanking each other and the viewers for all their help was simply amazing. It was one of those moments where people do something bigger than just themselves, and it made me realize that something I enjoy doing in my spare time could actually be used to help other people like myself. So here we are in March 2017, and I’m learning how to be a good video game streamer. I’ve been binge-watching the various streamers of Vinesauce to learn as much as I can in a short period of time (one of those autism benefits is that your brain is a sponge when you’re motivated) and I’m looking to get everything pulled together so we can do our first charity stream in April or May, likely the latter. You can follow my learning process on my Twitch page - I’ll probably be streaming tonight, in fact - and jump in on the chat as I play all manner of weird things. Now, why is all of this important? Last year, the Vinesauce team actually had a booth and a panel at TooManyGames, a gaming convention in Philadelphia, and they’re going to be back this year for round two. I’m within driving distance of Philadelphia and now fully intend to go to TooManyGames and try to actually thank them for inspiring me to take this project of mine on. Meeting people who I’m inspired by is always very daunting for me, but I’ve decided that I absolutely have to do this because this would be a huge step forward for me in redeveloping social confidence. I’m not going to let myself chicken out of this one, so I’ve been getting as many of my friends as possible to hold me to doing this and even go with me to ensure that I actually go and say hi to them at some point. Anyway, writing this on here is another way of holding myself to doing this, so please watch this space and come late June I’ll report back on the whole thing. I’m trying my best here!”

It’s very tough due to my social anxiety, but I’m going to do this because sometimes you just have to tell people how they’ve helped and inspired you. Hold me to this, everyone, because I’m determined to do this.

Thank you so much for the kind words, I’m so happy our charity inspired you to also take part in such a fantastic cause and to spread awareness. Awesome idea and this is something I support 100%. If you get a chance to reblog this, do it.

おはよう!

I hope you’re all doing OK, I’m having a blast in Japan so far! Travelling is a bit scary but the people are so kind and nice and the food and locations are so cool! I’ll be updating with more stuff soon but I just wanted to show off some photos. Take care!

Oh and yes, there will be a video of all of this as well.

Two metal heads, feat. Momoko. I doodled this yesterday while waiting for a ride because…???? Then I lined it and base colored it.

Also bonus:

What’s so metal? I’ll let you decide.

haha this is wonderful thank you!

This is a small post to say, I appreciate all your positive words & criticisms too. Feedback is an opportunity to learn. In particular, I believe being open to criticism can make our journey through life a lot smoother. Whether it’s constructively intended or not, you have the option to use it, or ignore it. I want to let you all know, I am open to any concerns you have, with how I stream or jokes I make. The streamers & I all use this tag to interact with the community and to share positivity. We all try our best at being easily approachable, reading our emails & answering our asks as promptly as possible. Communication is important  to all of us & it’s something I value highly.

This year I have set my values around sharing as much positivity as possible. To say the least, it’s what we all need right now. Even as a Video Game Streamer, this is something we can all get behind- that sharing happiness is one of the only things that lasts in the world and in the end connects us all.

My stream is not a place for vitriol or spreading hatred. I don’t want you to think about negativity in my stream, well all have enough of it in our own lives- whoever you are. I owe this to you & anyone that looks toward my content for a laugh.

I try to grow each year as a person, as do we all, however I still make mistakes. I'm constantly learning about people and how to better myself. If there's anything I can improve upon in my streams send me a mail or an ask.

John Lennon said “Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.”

I count my life by smiles- you have all brought me thousands. This year, I'm going to try my best to give it back and spread as much positivity and love as possible.

I’m going to fulfill a lifetime dream of visiting Japan in a week and I was wondering if there’s any cool places any of you would recommend? I’ll take lots of pictures and hopefully I can film something to make you laugh.
