FLUFF-uary 2025 Day 2: Banter/Flirting

Fandom: Final Fantasy XIV Relationship: Sanson Smyth/Guydelot Thildonnet

Gods, but it's good to be home again! As Guydelot stretches in the late afternoon sunlight filtering through Gridania's familiar trees, he could swear he feels frost crackling in his bones. After so miserably long in Garlemald, the bard hadn't been certain he'd ever feel warm again; no amount of huddling around the fire or curling up with Sanson in the quiet privacy of their tent ever seemed to thaw him out completely.

For all it's late autumn here at home, with a crisp bite to the air, it might as well be the height of summer.

So the funniest headcanon I have for Sanson is that when he cooks, sometimes he gets impatient that it takes a bit for spaghetti to soften when you put it into the pot so you can submerge the entire thing. His solution: snap the spaghetti sticks in half before putting it in the pot.

Guydelot just stared at him in shock and horror and he banned Sanson from cooking pasta afterwards lol.

personally one of my favorite things about the bard quests is that both of them could just be lesbians. guydelot with the shitty self-cut short hair with a bad dye job and 3 days worth of eyeliner caked on. sanson with the Sensible Low Ponytail who runs this bard unit like it's the god damn navy. i know these dykes they could be my coworkers

Midlander Hyurs who are shorter than Sanson Smyth: A post

My friend was commenting how the Bard quest NPCs are mostly Elezens so Sanson who's 5'11 always look like a short twink next to them, so I got curious and compiled this list lol.

Ardbert / Meteor / Hien / Thancred (yes Sanson is taller than Meteor but twice the twink)

Bonus: Guydelot is a complete giraffe next to Meteor lmao
