Already seeing people on tiktok saying “I still hate trump but he ate with this one” like … babes … you just got propagandized … that’s literally exactly what he created this situation in the hopes you would say …

The most common response I’ve gotten to this post is “remember they’re TikTokers they have no common sense” “this is why tiktok is terrible and should be banned” “this could never happen to tumblr” and so just a reminder that when we say “No one is immune to propaganda” YOU are included in the no one! You are not immune to propaganda, I am not immune to propaganda, NO ONE IS IMMUNE TO PROPAGANDA! This rhetoric that you oh holy tumblr users are some how better and smarter than tiktok users and thus immune to effect of the right is part of their rhetoric to divide us and pit people against each other! Instead of saying “of course tiktok users are stupid enough to fall for propaganda” how about we actually try and dispel the propaganda?? Cause remember kids, anytime you think well “this could never effect me, no one would ever ban tumblr no one cares about us!” Yes it can and yes they would. NO ONE IS IMMUNE TO PROPAGANDA!

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? Something I think people who don’t live with chronic illness don’t understand is that there is a big difference between resting to get better and resting to avoid getting worse.

Me: I’m going to start only eating when I’m hungry. That way I won’t snack all day long and I can enjoy proper meals when I actually need them instead :)

i think a loving thing u can do for yourself before a solo trip is to have a line item in ur budget, as critical and untouchable as Plane Tickets and Lodging, called Stupid. this money cannot be used for anything other than bailing u out of stupid situations

sometimes the Stupid moments are obvious like “my designated in-bag phone charger™️ is missing and my phone’s dying” or “i can’t find the goddamn bus stop it’s getting really late”, but sometimes they’re small like “huh the food at this bar i wanted to go to is pretty expensive”. the temptation to do the risky but cheap thing (walking around with a dead phone, getting lost, drinking on an empty stomach) over the expensive but safe thing (buy another charger at the closest shop, call a cab, pay too much for some mid-ass chicken gyozas bc though you do want to try the signature local beer it’s been a minute since you ate anything) is mitigated. it’s fine, u can assure yourself. take it out of the Stupid Budget
