🫛 🥕 I will never stop loving making these whimsy needle books.
I enjoy every bit of them, especially how tactile they are. They take forever and a day to embroider, crochet and needle felt.
I have a desire to make an A5 book cover, but I fear it's going to be way too expensive for me to be able to sell it.
Hey, so it turns out we’ve been living with two gas leaks in our house for an unknown amount of time and we need to replace our entire furnace unit. There are people coming on Thursday to do it.
We are taking out a line of credit to get it done because for our safety we have to, but the interest is significant.
I feel like I’m asking for a miracle, but if I can sell 2000 ebooks or 500 audiobooks of Hunger Pangs through my Payhip, that would cover it. You can also gift people copies through Payhip gifting system or by donating to the donate pile so I can run giveaways.
The water heater still needs replaced but that leak has been addressed safely and is no longer slowly killing us.
If you like what I do and want to support me in other ways I have a Patreon and a Ko-fi. (You can ignore the 18+ warning that comes up on my Patreon, they’ve had me wrongly flagged as an adult content creator for years.)
Please, I cannot stress this enough do not give money you don’t have. Even sharing this and telling people about my books is a wonderful help. I’m just trying to alleviate some of the financial strain from Mothman.
I’m going to have a lie down now in a well-ventilated space. Maybe have a soothing scream first.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has bought copies, donated to my ko-fi and joined my patreon. I am beyond grateful and so, so relieved 😭
I can’t give exact figures because my payhip app keeps crashing but I think we’re somewhere in the vicinity of 1000 sales.
Just… thank you. I know if no one else has got me, the monster fuckers on Tumblr have got me 🦇🐺💖
hello professor i did not do the assignment because it sounded like a stupid fucking waste of time and i think you should be fired for giving this to me. maybe make the next one more interesting/relevant and i will consider it. regards
in the meantime: study, journal, read more books, sit in silence, listen to music, take walks, take the stairs, do more things alone, do more things with friends, take notice of the small wonders of the world, create a sacred space in your mind
Someone reblogged one of my old posts where i mention emergency medicine and these days I can’t believe I almost chose that as a specialty. These days if i’m in the hospital past 6PM i want to throw up. If i see a patient older than 16 i’m just confused. I need a 45 minute break half way through a ward round to drink hot choccy and gossip. I was born to be a pediatric sub specialist.
It's funny how things change, right?
I used to love being in hospital. Being part of a team, being part of a successful crash call, making some great stuff happen.
Now, I love having my own clinic. I love managing my own workload, for the most part. I love being part of a small team. I love getting to know my patients and follow them up.
I think I gave other people GP vibes for a long time before I became a GP.

I wasn't aware of this one, so I'm trying to spread the word.
Black faith leaders have called for a 40-day "fast" from Target for Lent in response to their compliance with Trump's resegregation agenda.
Now this is an effective boycott. It is targeting (ha) a specific company with a clearly stated goal. The amount of time is long enough to be noticed, and could be extended if needed. Anything that can be purchased at Target can also be obtained elsewhere, so it is actually possible to boycott this specific company for a very long time. Target is caving to fascism and rolling back their diversity and inclusion policies. The goal is for them to reverse that decision. This is an achievable goal.
Boycotting everything all at once, for one day or for as long as you can, because everything is terrible and we’re mad about it…does nothing. It’s vague, disorganized, and frankly impossible. We have to buy things sometimes. You can’t just target the economy as a whole. You have to be specific.
If you want to start a boycott, use this one as an example. Choose one target. Provide one (simple, clear, easy to explain) reason why that company deserves to be boycotted. Explain what you want them to do differently. Make sure that it is something that can actually be done. Then tell people about it.
watched flow (2024) yesterday and i bawled!
“do you really wanna be on that medication for the rest of your life :(?” yes actually I would love that. I know what I’m like off it
