Not sure if you read any SwanQueen fanfics, but your post about Regina getting locked away while she was queen and no one in the kingdom knowing who she was off the street reminded me of one of my fav fics.
Basically Regina was married off to the king where he sadly abused her while she was queen. She learns about soulmates and True Love, so she sneaks off nightly to a tavern where she meets Emma and just gets to be happy for once.
Mind the tags, but I love Regina’s characterization in it and she deserves to be happy lol

Does anybody else think it’s strange that whilst Regina was married and Leopold was still alive, she would frolic around the enchanted forest and nobody seemed to have any idea who she was??
I mean she’s the fucking Queen of the kingdom and nobody is able to recognise her? She doesn’t even seem to have a personal guard until she becomes the evil queen.
I personally think it’s because Leopold kept her hidden away and isolated. But it’s so weird that the people don’t know who their Queen is.

You probably are or are not aware of this, but SVU is currently in the 3.0 era since season 24. You can tell based on the writing and cast changes.
2.0 era was season 13 - season 23
The first and second gen being 1-12 and 13-23, I did notice. And it makes sense to me now why s24 took the longest for me to get through. All the third gen changes were just so dull that I was just not enthused about watching the episodes that season 😔

I recall her having a degree or something but I can’t remember her being so invested in the whole psychology and profiling part. I guess I was just binging the show too quickly to pick up on it back in the previous Rollins seasons. And yeah, I just finished the whole crossover arc now and I’m glad rolivia are doing good as friends. It was a real odd choice for them to interact like that in the first place but… it’s fine, I guess? And oh gosh, don’t say that, I was hoping the next couple seasons of writing would get better but now I’m not holding my breath.
