no write only daydream
The opposite of “manic pixie dream girl” is “depressed goblin nightmare man,” and, judging by this site, it’s just as attractive to some.
People have known this for decades

This build was a doozy - I've never built anything Thanalan-focused, so using a lot of these elements (Oasis Pillars/Partitions, lots of earth tones, etc.) was a bit of a challenge. I think it turned out well, though, but what do you think?
Heavily inspired by one of my absolute favorite housing magicians—Yanina, and her iconic Ul'dahn Black Mage build, which was one of the first to spark my love for XIV housing. Though she’s since retired from the housing scene, this design felt like a small homage to her unforgettable work. I hope I’ve done it justice. ♥ (if she has social media for housing I could not find it to tag, but check her link for her housingsnap!)
Also wanted to endlessly credit @emahriel's Ul'dahn-themed builds with a gorgeous Moroccan sparkle, Dar El Medina and Ul'dah Abode. Any time you post a build, know that I'm immediately taking notes because you always inspire!
characters who dig themselves out of their graves (whether literal or metaphorical) are at the top of the list. nothing beats a character who should have died but didn't and comes back to haunt their own life and the world around them, benevolent or violent it doesn't matter, it's enthralling either way
Somewhat preliminary look for Woodsy Witchy AU's Risengoul kiddy, Suzienne (Angoul here isn't that AU specific, I just plopped him in for comparison with both of her parents). I haven't talked about that AU much so it probably hasn't gotten mentioned that there's a Kid involved later on? But there is. Angoul kinda. Leaves. And then Rise finds out that hey she's actually pregnant and there's no physical possibility the father is anyone but Angoul.
So then she raises the girl alone for several years! Before Angoul comes back. It's all very fun and entertaining. For me. Not so much for them, necessarily.
