Prayer for April 11th

Father in Heaven, thank you for the worldwide community of believers. Together you carry out your mission here on earth through the fellowship of Christians and we pray that you would empower us all to faithfully and boldly go to all nations, sharing the Good News. Thank you for the blessing of one another. We pray this all in Jesus’ name. Amen. 

Prayer for April 10th

Dear God, we pray for those who would slander others because of their commitment to Jesus Christ. We pray they would accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life and understand that words of hatred and anger do not lead towards joy and peace. Forgive them as we also have been forgiven. We pray this all in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer for April 8th

Heavenly Father prepare my heart as you need. There are areas that I hold onto selfishly and tightly. There are areas that are not healthy or even good for me. I surrender all of those to you today. I want to live in the grace, love, and forgiveness brought by Jesus’ sacrifice. I pray this all in his mighty and unending name. Amen.

Prayer for April 7th

Awesome God, we hunger and thirst for the things that you deem good. Love, honesty, purity, righteousness, forgiveness, and patience all come to mind. Challenge us and convict us where we fall short in these areas and equip us to become more like Jesus every day. We pray this all in his mighty name. Amen.

Prayer for April 5th

Dear God, thank you for the ways that you’ve changed us. For breaking through hearts of stone, changing knowledge to faith, and showing us a better way through Jesus Christ, we glorify you! We pray that our lives and witness would show others that Jesus is Lord of all, and his love is perfect. It’s in his mighty name we pray. Amen!

Jesus, I confess with my lips, and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. I acknowledge you as Lord and Savior of my life and repent of sins. I accept the commission to tell others about the Good News and participate in making disciples of all nations. I pray this all in your name. Amen.

Prayer for April 2nd

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for peace within my family. Strengthen our bonds and help us communicate with love and respect. When disagreements arise, guide us to resolve conflicts peacefully, fostering an environment of understanding and support. Protect our home from strife and negativity, allowing Your love to be the foundation of our relationships. Thank You for the gift of family and the joy they bring into my life. Amen.

Prayer for April 1st

Dear God, I hope to bring you honor by being obedient to all of your commands and not just the ones that are easy for me. I desire to show love to my enemies equally to my family and friends. Soften my heart towards those who I disagree with and don’t understand their views. Hold me steadfast to align with your Holy Bible and reveal in me anywhere that does not. I pray this all in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dear God, please forgive us of our sins. We hope to start this week with our conscience clear. We don’t want to be ashamed or full of guilt over our sins. We want to live in freedom that comes from Christ. Thank you for his blessings of love and grace. We pray this all in the unending name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. 

Prayer for March 28th

Awesome God, loving Father, close our eyes and our hearts to selfish desires. It’s so easy to get too wrapped up in our own mess and it takes us away from you. We want to do right and follow your commandments with joyful obedience. We hope that all we do brings you glory. And we ask that every part of our being is turned to you. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer for March 27th

Dear God, I pray that we could be peacemakers. Those who do the hard work of striving for and maintaining peace. Don’t let us fall into the trap of speaking or doing evil. Even when Jesus was persecuted, he didn’t speak evil against others. Give us the strength, wisdom, and love to do the same. We pray this all in Jesus’ strong and powerful name. Amen.

Prayer for March 26th

Dear God, we pray for the children who will be the future of our churches. Guide them to be mighty men and women of faith. Strengthen them through your holy word, and give them support from others who will love and care for them. We are excited about the passion and joy they bring and we look forward with expectation to seeing what you do in their lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Prayer for March 25th

Holy Father, we recognize that happiness is fleeting. Life can steal our happiness, but let us never allow it to steal our joy. Our joy which comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ and fellowship with other believers. We are grateful for the laughter, love, and opportunities to grow closer to your Son together. Today, let us be joyful. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer for March 24th

Loving God, thank you for the fun, happiness, and joy that can be found with fellow believers. The fellowship that can be had with others who profess the name of Jesus goes beyond simple enjoyment, but it is a spiritual bond and connection that’s far better. Please help us all to develop powerful relationships founded on Christ that are also filled with this joy. We pray it all in Jesus’ name. Amen!

God of all, you have made so much of Creation beautiful. We are especially thankful for those people who are spiritually beautiful. Those individuals who are filled with love, joy, patience, and kindness. Show us how we can be spiritually beautiful at home, at work, and with our friends. We pray this all in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer for March 20th

God help us to be understanding of others. Sometimes it’s tough to recognize where we don’t have to agree with each other but can still love them. Give us the strength and patience to be sympathetic and empathetic with others. And Lord, we pray that others would have understanding towards us. You certainly know we need it. We pray this all in Jesus’ strong name. Amen.

Prayer for March 18th

Heavenly Father, help me to be fearless and stop worrying. There are so many things that storm through my mind. Calm those storms as Jesus did when he was with his disciples. Bring peace, and help me to renew my mind by thinking of things are pure, righteous, and holy. Shut down the anxious thoughts and concerns and replace them with thoughts of heaven. Amen.
