I think it would be so funny if Obito without a mask showed up all cocky in civilian clothing or other shinobi village gear at whatever roadside restaurant Kakashi was in while traveling for a mission, completely confident that Kakashi, even if he recognizes and believes him to be Obito, would not allow himself to acknowledge it knowing the probability of this random Obito-looking-guy with scars in the right places actually being Obito, especially considering Obito in this situation is just sitting down having a drink and a snack. So, we have Obito hanging out munching on some red bean dango that Kakashi knows he loves, and Kakashi sitting on the other side of the room having an existential crisis.

ive seen a lot of debate over what would happen to obito if he lived after the war. what i found interesting out of all of them is that they would take away his eyes so that he would "atone for his sins" (similar to how sasuke has only 1 arm) and i found that idea so interesting

but like. i kept thinking about it. what if they did that and then kakashi gave him one of his eyes to obito.. so he can remember him(kakashi) /he can remember his redemption or whatever ..

oh now if i say the reason why kakashi didn't outright tell obito to just LIVE here is because in order to be recognized you have to die for the "greater good" and that's literally the system that they have set up in the villages

also isn't it crazy how obito wasn't even supposed to be able to move but somehow he still could. like what the hell was the point of kurama saying obito couldn't move for months just for the next fuckinh second he's over here sacrificing his life.. seriously..it just pisses me off but we *could* of seen obito live and "atone for his sins" (whatever that means)

i love how obito talks about how kakashi has doubts that's why he didn't kill him even tho he had multiple opportunities to do so. but same goes for obito
like he could of killed kakashi when he saw him "kill" rin but didn't. then played it off as he didn't "care" (he obviously did care about kakashi. why would he stalk him later
he wanted kakashi to be happy too. with him. he didnt kill kakashi because he wanted kakashi to let go all the burden he has and finally be freed from the world that he was put it.
this also goes really crazy knowing that kakashi himself was also brainwashed by the system that was set up. (i can kinda talk about this but im so stupid and don't know how to use words correctly lol sorry

i can't believe in the ninja world.. to seem like your life was worthy of something you had to die for the sake of your village. without that you're nothing.. this can be traced back to kakashis father killing himself which is probably and definitely why he said this to obito. in my opinion there is no need to sacrifice your life to the village that forces you to fight to the death and see hundreds of people die daily at the age of 13. but whatever
okay back to obito. like i keep saying this or whatever but i 100 percent believe he will forever be in the right. he wanted to fix the system that set up children to die. and i wish they understood what he meant.
obito was heavily misguided by the adults throughout his youth. even when he was young it was obvious that obito didnt like the "rules and regulations" of the shinobi world. and then knowing what happened with rin yeah of course he was going to get worse.
also i find it crazy (not really idk what word to use) that obito didn't want to start a war because he is a victim of war. which is why he asked the kage if there was another way (if i remember correctly). obito out of everybody in the show he knows exactly the consequences of war, thats also why he just told everybody to not fight and he would just leave them alone and no one else would have to die. that's why i believe even during the war obito is genuinely a good person at heart.. ill defend him forever.
if im being honest i would of preferred if obito won the war. or at least lived. i think him dying genuinely was one of the worst writing decisions they could of done and in general was just cruel as fuck for them to do. obito hated himself and died hating himself, thinking nobody was ever on his side. if he lived i swear it would of made a good plot in the future. and maybe obito would of finally learned to love himself.
idk if this makes sense but i really wish obito lived and learned to love himself. like throughout his whole life he hated himself. even when he redeemed himself he still called himself trash.
seriously, i woulda done whatever just to see him genuinely happy with himself!! he deserves so much better. cries
