Lovely Readers and Gorgeous Tumblr Fam,

I am launching a Patreon. 

I know that this will probably be met with a mixed response. I get that. I understand that there may be some reticence about it but you have all always been so lovely and supportive of me that I hope you will see how exciting this is for me. I wrote my first ever fic by accident last September and never imagined it would end up being something I loved so much or that brought so much happiness or so many of you wonderful people into my life! I spend a lot of time and effort writing (you’ve seen my word counts, you know!) and I really do hope you can see why I’m so excited to be setting up my Membership Site.

Here are the important things to know….

There will be Patreon exclusive content. A lot of stuff will filter down to Tumblr but some won’t. 

The next parts of my series ‘Knight!Sam’, ‘Now & Then’, and ‘Duke’ will all be posted to Patreon. They will come to Tumblr too because I haven’t forgotten that this is where I started them and I am really not trying to strong arm anyone into anything or make a ‘dick move’. They will come to Tumblr 4 weeks after Patreon. Knight!Sam is already up. N&T will go up next week. Duke, the week after that. And so on. I’m also already planning my next series. [NB. ‘Best Laid Plans’ is a commission and will stay here]

In addition there will be other content, with one shots and drabbles going up each week.  Whatever character gets a chapter on any given week, an alternate gets a standalone - so Knight!Sam week means a Dean one shot or vice versa.

You can read all of this from £3 a month, which is less than a cup of coffee. I know it can be disappointing when someone asks for money for something they were previously doing for free BUT I know a lot of you and I don’t think you’d mind essentially buying me a coffee once a month and if you do, or you can’t afford it WHICH I GET TOTALLY, like I said, a lot will filter down to Tumblr over time.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Cursing silently, you try to pass the table, following the waiter. “Why must that idiot be here?”

The waiter stops right in front of the table you tried to avoid. While you stare at the man occupying the table he has the same shocked expression on his face. 

“Well, Mr. Sambora and Ms. Mercury. Greetings from your friends, they hope you’ll have a wonderful evening.”

With the waiter gone you start a staring contest with Dean. “What the fuck, Winchester!”

“Lower your voice, woman,” Dean bites back,“my credit card says Sambora. Sit and let’s find out who lurked us into this ‘date’.”

Rolling your eyes, you pull your chair, glaring at Dean who has the guts to order food, not even asking if you want to eat something too.

“Charming as always, jerk. Can we get this over with?” Pissed as the ‘hot’ date your friends promised to you ended in a disaster called Dean Winchester you play with the useless cutlery. “Tell me the name of the person setting you up for the date and I am gone.”

“Jody and Donna.”

“Same.” Spitting your friend’s name out you roll your eyes as Dean is busy to ogle the waitress serving the table opposite you. “Fine. Have a nice evening and thank you for nothing. Sexy and charming man my ass.”

Getting up you grasp for the salt to pour it into Dean’s drink. “Next time stay out of my hair, my hunt, and my friends’ bed, asshole. I hope you choke on the food.”

Storming out of the restaurant you can’t believe you wanted to spend the first hunt less night with Dean Winchester. “Fuck that…”

A/N: So, I saw this post and was reminded just how much I love this scene. Dean saying, "Hey look! Monster broke my leg." Is one my favourite Dean lines - it's just so ridiculously adorable.

So, it got me thinking what would have happened if the woman Dean was crushing on, came in when he was vulnerable and not all there. Thus this idea was born. Wrote this fast, sorry for any mistakes. 😊

Y/N hurried through the long hospital corridors, ignoring the antiseptic smells and the incessant beeps and soft conversations happening around her. She just wanted to see Dean and make sure that he was alright. Sam had texted her to say Dean was injured on a hunt, but that he was recovering. 

Y/N texted back that she was on her way. Sam called her then, to reassure her that everything was fine; it was just a broken leg, and she didn't have to make the three hour drive to the Chicago hospital Dean was in. 

But Y/N had ignored that advice, determined to be of some help to the boys if they needed her. If Dean was gonna be out of commission for a couple months, Sam might need an interim partner.

That's what she told herself and what she planned to tell the boys. But the truth was, she just needed to verify, with her own eyes, that Dean was okay. He's my friend - I just care about my friends. She thought defensively, ignoring the little voice that was insisting that it was much more than friendly concern she felt for Dean Winchester.

She rounded the corner of his unit and approached the nurses station. The harried nurse behind the desk looked up at her and Y/N smiled. 

"Ace Frehley?" She asked, using the alias Sam told her Dean was going by for this hospital stay.

The nurse pointed down the hall. "615." She said before picking up a ringing telephone. 

Y/N walked down to the room and knocked quietly on the partially open door, not wanting to disturb Dean if he was sleeping, but just as she was pushing the door open she heard Dean loudly proclaiming his opinion on…Batman?

He’s always adorable but in the few times he’s been confused he’s the most adorablest!
