matty healy is literally one of the most sensitive and great artists out there and for sure the most honest and genuine I’ve ever seen. people picturing him as a misogynist and telling that the new album’s lyrics are “sexist” don’t know absolute shit about him. he actually loves and celebrates girls in his lyrics, breaks gender roles by wearing make-up, heels and painting his nails and doesn’t give an absolute fuck about society’s rules and people’s opinions. he’s not afraid of telling what he truly thinks but it seems like mass medias have always to find a way to take what he says out of context to make him look like some dumb pretentious idiot while he’s actually really smart and talented. I respect him so much and fully support him in standing up for himself.
