The thing about my relationship with rock and metal is it saved my life. It empowered me. It gave me my fucking voice. It gives me a place to go when my life is shitty. Most importantly, it gave me a community to belong in, and as a kid who never belonged, that means the world to me. So when I see people treat the thing no one can take from me with disrespect, it fills me with rage. So don't fuck with Rock and Metal, or I'll rip your throat out.
