what can I say? I love Astarion, I love the tragedy and stubbornes of his story. I love seeing him defeat and hunt down the source of his pain in ways I never can with mine, but wish I could.

Also I've been staring at this old timey Absinthe add in my bedroom so I thought I'll try something art decoesque.

Anger isnt a bad emotion. The shit that happened to you wasn't trivial if it affected you. You're allowed to be angry about it, it dosent mean that you have to act on it, it dosent mean that it makes you a bad person, and you don't have to forgive to overcome it.

I tried to go with the roaring twenties art deco, look of Hazbin Hotel. Even though his anatomy killed me I like how this turned out.

I drew Astarion a while ago and it didn't at all come out like I hoped it would. So here he is again and also I think this time I kind of extended my limits contrast wise when it comes to this style.

Inwatched a vid on negative space and it really helped a lot.

Details of the coloring process (I´m suffering) Turns out its not actually easier to get rid of the coat when you do him fully naked instead. So much for a quick sketch.

Mollymauk lineart for anatomy practice reasons. I'll see that I'll get this coloured eventually. He looks more naked without the tattoos than for actually being naked.

Im sorry that I'm currently so behind on updates, art...anything really. Mentaly I'm doing really not well, I lost my job, have no money left and everything is kinda crumbling around me right now, with very few exceptions.

Im going to be admited into a psych ward next month and finaly starting therapy and working on my trauma and issues.

I still want to make the art thing and the toy production work, but I fear I'll have to be patient with myself for now and focus on actually getting better and getting my life fixed.

I will keep this blog updated as I can.
