Shadowdark wizard. A quick digital warmup from yesterday before working on a few commissions. I've been trying to get away from photoshop trying other things for a while - this is clip studio paint. Enjoying it. Playing with black/white shapes instead of drawing much. Timelapse included.

Sword Lady 2

Second Sword Lady oil painting from my Recycled Material Oil Painting Challenge. Started in January 2025, the challenge was to make six paintings using materials that I bought from Tinketopia, an art material re-use store in downtown Tacoma, Wa. I used an old, pre-used boxed oil paint set and a pad of 9 x 12 canvas paper. The characters in all the paintings were based off sketches from a Zoom life drawing session featuring a Frazetta style / sword and sorcery theme.
