Joseph: "Is everyone there?"

Yara: "Yep. We gathered them all at the orrery room."

Scott: "Nathan wanted in too, so he's joining us in the planning."

Joseph: "Shouldn't he be resting?"

Nathan: "I'm fine, Dahl. Besides, I need to hear this plan for myself. Gotta make sure none of you include any stupid ideas in there."

Lyssa: "Right, because teaching toys how to use guns is any better. You do realize not all of them have thumbs right? Ammo's limited too, and we can't keep going back to the prison for more dead guards to rummage through."

Nathan: "It's not just guns we're relying on, Princess. That's why we have Scott to make more makeshift weapons. We have an entire trash compactor full of scrap for us to work with!"

Scott: "Unrelated question, do the showers here still work?"

Joseph: "The ones at the right and north wing do. But you should probably only use the ones at the right wing. North wing's isn't the most...filtered."

Lyssa: "Gross."

Yara: "I still don't get why we shouldn't wait 'til Doughs and Kisses wake up. Shouldn't they get to have a say in the plan too?"

Scott: "That's why we're getting the rest of Team Haven's say for now, right? Besides, the plan's still subject to change, even after they wake up. For now, the best we can do is get insight from the rest of the guys who's been surviving here for way longer than we have."

Joseph: "Alright, so that's all sorted. But should it really be me who has to be the main speaker here? I'm...not exactly good with this whole leader thing. I tend to fumble my words in front of many people and-"

Nathan: "What, you have stage fright? Aren't you supposed to be a musician? You're not even performing, all you need to do is explain."

Yara: "Yeah, sorry Jo. You know about Playcare's layout better than the rest of us. Including the hidden passageways. It has to be you."

Joseph: "B-But Scott-"

Scott: "Hey, don't look at me. I only know about one specific passageway that Theo used when he got zapped. You can only expect so much from my kid detective phase."

Joseph: "I-" -sighs- "Lyssa, please tell me you're okay with being the lead speaker instead. Isn't Playcare technically your territory now...?"

Lyssa: "Uh-uh. I already said everything I needed to say. You all can tell the rest about the plan. Someone needs to keep an eye out for the two back at the med room."

Joseph: "...There's really no getting around it, is there?"

Yara: "Nope."

Scott: "Sorry."

Nathan: "Not sorry."

Lyssa: "No."

Joseph: "..."

Joseph: "Fine..."

Joseph: "Let's go."

"...So, we noticed how we tend to run into a bunch of these tapes. Thought I'd...contribute with a tape of my own. I offered to sit down and watch all the ones we managed to find while everyone else is... adjusting, after everything."

"God, where do I even begin? I think it's only been a week that me and the other four have been stuck here, but so many has happened already. Doesn't help that there's zero indication of a day-and-night cycle. We lost count of the toys that tried to attack us, so when we found Doey and Safe Haven, we...thought we could at least finally get some solace."

"Except y'know— Safe Haven blew up."

"Things escalated. Doughs was having a breakdown and all, there was a major fight, I sprained my ankle (though I guess I'm better now), you know how it went. We tried to explain that none of us actually followed with Poppy's plan, but he wasn't exactly in the best state of mind. Poor guy is still recovering from all that liquid nitrogen we used on him too. I guess we have Kissy to thank for intervening before one of us got seriously hurt."

"We figured out what really happened soon after. Well, more like Nathan had a hunch and ended up being right. Ollie, AKA the Prototype apparently, manipulated Scott when he was repairing the generator after the rest of us got the Omni-hand. Nathan said he found a tape of him using different voices to talk to Dr. Soysauce, including Ollie's voice. I'm watching it too right now and...Yeah, that tracks. That...also explains that propaganda poster we found. Nathan got separated from us and was attacked by Huggy apparently, but was saved by Kissy."

"Currently, those two are still recovering. Yeah, they managed to evacuate most of everyone before the generator went boom, but not with a hefty load of injuries...and a hefty load of casualties. As for Poppy's whereabouts, we're still at a loss. Could be another Mar-...Mommy-situation where she might've been snatched again. Current leading theory is that Huggy got to her. Or maybe Kissy urged her to run off to a little nook where she couldn't be reached while she took care of the blue guy herself. 'Till she wakes up and confirms it for us, it's only speculation for the meantime."

"Obviously we needed a new place to stay. Safe Haven isn't exactly safe anymore, plus the generator exploded. Next best choice?"

"Playcare."

Okay, new blog! This is @deadzonedenizen here, and welcome to my ask sideblog for my very Yaelokre-inspired Poppy Playtime AU: Birds Of A Feather, or just simply the Fledglings AU. Gist of it is five orphans who are based on the kids from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, escaped Playtime Co. and came back six years later (AU takes place in late 2001).

Pretty much all five's backgrounds have been set up in the blog, and more details will show up in either a document or tape format yadda yadda, but the majority of this blog will basically be me or the cast answering asks. Cuz- it's ultimately an ask blog.
