J.D. McClatchy, “THE DIALOGUE OF DESIRE AND GUILT”
announcement:
hello everyone! i just wanted to say that i’m taking a break (aka hiatus) from tumblr for the time being. i don’t know how long it’s going to last but i do think it will be a while. feel free to unfollow if need be, i don’t want to slow down your dashes! i thought about deleting but i love this blog and i’ve poured my heart into it over the last year or so. i’ve made so many lovely friends and met so many talented creators on this site, and i can’t thank my followers enough for sticking by me all this time. it has truly been a blessing to share my art/edits/writing/thoughts with you all. however, i have found over the last few months that going on tumblr feels like a chore, and updating my blog no longer seems fun. this site can definitely be toxic and it’s not helping me get to a better place, it’s just doing the opposite. i hope you’ll understand why i feel like i need to leave. i’ll miss alll of you very much and i hope one day i’ll be back!

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”
