hey y’all, so as you know me and my partner cheri @lovetrace have been having serious money issues for a while. I’ve been doing my best to get a job but most places have been turning me down due to my lack of a diploma/ged. Me and my partner are both black disabled lesbians.

Today i put in a grocery store application and hopefully i can get it— However in the meantime, we have little to no food in the house, and the food that is made by their mother either isn’t enough. Or there’s always the risk of it being poisoned as there’s an active threat against their father. Cheri expanded on our situation here

hi!!! we’ve been trying desperately to avoid making this post, but we’re out of food and slowly running out of time.

I’ve talked a bit about our situation here and here, but to expand on it; me and my girlfriend, Chevy are two black, disabled lesbians and we’ve been trying to make it work with my extremely toxic family for years now but after covid hit everything’s been horrible.

the fridge has been broken for months now, and whenever we do have food, we either have to eat it all in one sitting or else it spoils. we’ve been making $30 dollars stretch for a few weeks now by only getting water and ramen and managing to scrounge up whatever money we can find, but we’re really out this time.

I would usually offer commissions but drawing with such a mental strain isn’t good for me, and my body has been weaker than usual (I’ve been in and out of the hospital recently) My girlfriend is disabled too, and most of the jobs around require a lot of heavy lifting, which would not be good for her. She wants to get her driver’s license so she could door dash, but since money is tight, that doesn’t really seem possible right now. We know other people are struggling too, but we really need help.
