This is your friendly otherkin reminder!:

You do NOT have to behave like your kintype to be it. As long as you look in the mirror and think to yourself "yeah thats a ___" and feel good with it, you ARE that kintype!

Or look in the mirror and think, "that SHOULD be a ___" for those of you who don't vibe with your bodily appearance! (Used to be like that myself so I thought I'd mention it!)

shifts are wild bc wdym people don't know I don't want to be bothered right now?

my ears are pinned back and my claws are out

my tail is tucked between my legs and you can see the whites of my eyes wdym you didn’t know i was nervous

Too sharp in areas I should be soft

Too soft in areas I should be sharp

A mutt muzzled with its claws left to grow

Jumping up at those it knows

It wants to be soft for them but instead tears their fragile skin

It wants to be sharp with a bark and a bite for those mean within

Instead it lays prone, cowering at those crueler than most

And hurts the ones it loves the most

A cruel beast wrought with sin should be left to rot within

stained glass coyote i made for my desert boyfriend’s birthday! what’s better is i get to fly down to hand deliver it to him 🥰 hope it survives the trip down there with me!

i like his dangling tail and the glass used in his halo the most. i’ll try and take some pictures lit from the front to really show off the gorgeous textures in the opaque pieces!

alterhumanity can be simple for some, complex for others.

for some, it is indescribable in its complexity. like a lifelong intricately woven tapestry that is constantly in progress.

for some, it is as simple as "i am (thing) because that is what i am"

no matter what your experience may be, you are no more or no less real for your experience.

what's important is that you are content and happy with yourself at the end of the day.

never force yourself into boxes or labels just because others may find it more palatable.

if you aren't hurting anyone, then you can identify however and in whatever way you want.

shout out to anyone whose disability gives them species euphoria in some way. to the hypermobile eldritch creatures whose bodies contort in ways past typical human ability, to mermaids in wheelchairs, to any creature who can't speak/only communicates vocally via sounds, to the autistics with heightened senses, to the horses who use crutches, to the schizophrenic wolves who hallucinate their paws and ears, to the ones dogs allergic to chocolate, to any and all in between.

(please feel free to tell me abt how your disability gives you species euphoria in the tags/replies! i would genuinely love to hear it :°])
