About Me

Been meaning to do this for a while, but uh...

Hi there!  I’m Caitlin, 33, she/her, North Texan, writer, virtual photographer, etc etc etc, and this is my video game sideblog!  Likes, follows, comments, and asks will come from my main @crmsndragonwngss

I’m currently posting about RGG (Yakuza, Judgment/Lost Judgment) and by extension Kimura Takuya (Kimura stuff will now go on my BTS sideblog @thatgoddamngingerundercut except when it is directly related to video games, ie Judgment), and Ghostwire: Tokyo, but you may have followed me for Far Cry 5 (the actual reason I started this blog), Ghost of Tsushima, or Death Stranding

It’s wild to me that so many websites say that mustang grapes are bitter and irritating to the skin and mouth when consumed raw, but like my brother and I pick them from the wild vines we have literally everywhere every summer and we eat about as many as we pick, and not one has ever been bitter or irritating? But then my neighbor said the same thing, that they’re really bitter and sting his mouth, and I’m just like ??? Y’all gotta be like picking them too early or literally allergic because that is not my experience lmao. Idk about the hull because I usually toss that in the bucket and just eat the pulp, but the pulp is so sweet wtf?

#she speaks#the wild grapes and dewberries are robust this year#flowers EVERYWHERE#and little baby fruits ❤️#and the pecan trees are finally staring to bud out and the wisteria is blooming and the bees and butterflies have returned#and I just really love spring you guys#I took the day off work for my bday and just sat outside with my goats and enjoyed the weather and all the greenery#best day I’ve had in MONTHS#which is crazy cuz last year I was in a full on crisis lol#but 33 didn’t hurt so much#I think it helped that I took my bday off Facebook so it wouldn’t notify anyone#and so I didn’t have to field the fake ass how have you been inquiries with people who haven’t talked to me in years#so it worked out lol I feel good#like lighter than I did last year#even though my life is definitely not better now lmao#but idk I’m not feeling that existential crisis about getting older this time#so at least there’s that lol#anyway what the fuck am I talking about this post was supposed to be about grapes?????

#look as a literature scholar who studied the Brontë sisters’ works under one of the top Byronic literature scholars in the country#this is not the first nor will it be the last time that Hollywood has misrepresented wuthering heights#so don’t pay much attention to it#and wuthering heights is required reading in most public schools in the us#so you don’t have to worry about people losing the meaning because they didn’t read the source material#they have and always will lose the meaning simply because it’s a difficult book to read and no one teaches it correctly#in the us anyway#a movie isn’t gonna change that#there are other things in this world to be upset about#Hollywood once again not understanding the assignment doesn’t even rank#focus more on ensuring the book stays on the curriculum and on library shelves instead#that’s a better use of your time and energy by far

Ordered new hoof sheers on Tuesday and they shipped the same day through USPS and the tracking has had this ambiguous “moving through network in transit to next facility” for three days and imma be so fr right now I am lowkey concerned about what this means for the peeps in the mail lol

It’s very sweet and considerate when the judge is like “transcriber, you don’t have to transcribe this part” and then talk under their breath to themselves, but unfortunately I do, in fact, have to transcribe that part too per my guidelines…

Had a dream I was doing a tutorial section in Ghost of Yotei and it opened up a gunpowder making mini game so I can then use the gun powder in a gun to shoot some enemies.... I failed the mini game and it blew up in Atsu's face and frozen the game. It later jumped to a different scene in which I was talking to Norio's reincarnation.

I just picture it like yakuza style lol
