To be fair - it never came from Jensen that he turned down Captain America, he even set the record straight about that rumour on more than one occasion. What aa's need to understand, is, that even IF he would've been offered "big" Hollywood roles (I'm speaking of productions shooting 4 months and more) back then, he would've been unable to take them on bc his SPN contract. WB would've sued him to oblivion for breaching the contract. So Jensen made his bed with SPN which brought him more money than a "big" movie role would've paid him.

And that's what Collins did, too. He relied on SPN as a nice paying, never ending cushion and thought of himself as a lead 🤣 and didn't seek out any other job opportunities. What he didn't consider was that he wasn't a lead, that they demoted him a few times and that no one outside of the fandom knew him. And that no job offers were waiting for him.

Even Jensen had to face this truth that no job was waiting for him and he needed the help of Kripke to get Soldier Boy. And his stint on Big Sky and Tracker he got more out of connections than out of demand . We'll see how his deal with Amazon pays out, if both of his upcoming shows will get more than one season. I hope he'll be successful 🤞

I'm with anon on this one. RSJ directed as we all know and he is obsessed with wide shots and tends to lose himself in visionary details so much that he is constantly in overtime. That in mind - what we've got to see in the confession scene isn't a typical Speight shot. So I guess we can come to the logical conclusion that they shot their respective coverage separate from eo and with Mishit's horrible acting and Jensen's stoic zoom out, they cut together the "best" takes of that trainwreck.

And I'm still absolutely convinced that Jensen had the scene recorded only for the purpose to have evidence in case they tried to pull a stunt. And I'm also sure that for this episode/scene Jensen checked in with the editors/cutters to be on the safe side. Don't forget how long Berens and Coffins worked on that scene behind Jensen's back.

Yes and they already have forgotten about the "drama" around a not invited Mishit last year. Daniela served them the facts ice cold (I can't stand that woman but I appreciate that she doesn't shy away from confrontation) that he doesn't sell enough. Despite JiB being labeled as a non-profit organisation (Daniela is fucking rich, she knows how to avoid taxes), of course at the end of the day there has to be a profit. It's simple math. You calculate the costs of every guest (appearance fee, hotel, flight etc) and what each guest earns from ops/autos and extras (like Mishit's one man show). And in Mishit's case he didn't sell enough ops/autos to cover his appearance fee.

So Daniela did what good business people do, she didn't invite him any longer bc she was not willing to pay for him out of her own pocket (the only one Daniela cares about is Jensen) and I guess he gambled and lost. So for this year he lowered his appearance fee - which he did also for PurCon 8, he was headlining PurCon 7 and then they could get Jensen for 8 and Ent Events didn't invite Mishit back at first bc he wanted to much money. But then he lowered his price and was invited.

Except for his pity stint on TB, Mishit's only income are cons and Cameos. But the demand for him decreases and he isn't booking any of the bigger (multifandom) cons. My guess is that he had to lower his appearance fee drastically to even get booked for non CE cons. His ex-wife is a shark and demands a lot of money for the kids.

But hellers/Mishit stans are blind and deaf to all those facts.
