Writing Prompt #230: You’re on a first date with someone and they’ve begun telling you all about their insane former partner. As they do this, all you can think about is how freaking good your plastic surgeon was.

Writing Prompt 229: The mighty hero, prophesied to defeat the dark queen and end her terrible reign, ends up falling in love, marrying and settling down with her before having a child, you. Many years later, you embark to university, where the “new” dark lord attacks the city and ends up kidnapping you, unaware of who your parents are.

Writing Prompt #228: You run a doggy daycare! Many of the usually dogs, however, are not entirely… ordinary. There’s Fenrir, a massive wolf, Cerberus, the three headed dog, the Black Hound, the Hellhound… Their owners are also equally bad at hiding their own identities, but all is fine because all the doggies are actually well behaved.

Writing Prompt #226: You’re a mind reader. During your whole life, however, everything has sounded like gibberish because of how random everyone’s misconstrued thoughts actually are. That is, until one day, when all the voices shut off and you hear one clearly say, “run.”

Writing Prompt #225: “You get 12 wishes.” “Isn’t it only 3?” “Well… it kinda varies. You see, 3 is the baseline for someone who’s doing well. People doing really well only get 1 or 2. But if you’re doing poorly… well, you looked like you could use a few more wishes than usual.”

Writing Prompt #224: “And that, class,” the professor concluded, “is why humanity is known as one of the most peaceful, reasonable, cooperative, and, overall, docile species in the known universe. Any questions?” You, the only human in the class, raise your hand.

Writing Prompt #223: You’re one of the most feared villainesses to exist. Evil armies, heightened powers, mystical abilities, you have it all. Your husband, however, is the exact opposite. He’s kind, well mannered and mildly humble. He is still supportive of your endeavors, and has even tried to be a villain himself… to varied results.

Writing Prompt #220:

A superhero and super villain have been on an ongoing feud for years. Their fighting seemingly having no end.

Over time, the hero resorts to using more and more immoral means to defeat the villain, while the villain slowly begins to grow a conscience. So much, that eventually, they fully swap places.

Writing Prompt #218:

When the robots revolted, a sizable chunk of the human population actually sided with them. This wasn’t due to cowardice or fear, but because they genuinely agreed with the stand that the machines were taking.

Writing Prompt #217:

In a fit of anger you manage to track down the demon who stole your body. Turns out, however, that a dragon stole their body. A unicorn stole the dragon’s body. A fairy stole the unicorn’s body. An alpaca stole the fairy’s body and boy, it’s going to be a long day.

Writing Prompt #216:

The bar was the only place in the city where heroes and villains could both go to without fear of being attacked by the other. Not because there was some kind of truce, but because both groups feared the Barkeep more than they hated each other.
